Hi everyone x

Just to let you all know that today I got my BFP on CD68!!
Please don't get disheartened with your long cycles because I know how frustrating it can be.

I only have about 4-5 periods per year so this time I decided because I have PCOS that I didn't want Clomid or medication so I went on the Low GI diet which I guess helped because I lost just 7lbs and ovulated.

Anyway, good luck to you all x x x
DUE CHRISTMAS DAY!!!

I used an online diet in the uk called Tesco Diets but I have read everywhere that if you follow a Low GI plan it controls the glucose levels in the blood which makes the symptoms of PCOS worse and can cause Diabetes in later life.

It's simple things like changing to wholegrain & whole wheat, eat more fruit, if something looks like it contains a lot of sugar don't eat it!

Because the body has problems breaking down the glucose the GI plan contains foods that are slow releasing.

It is quite the same as a low carb diet but with bread and pasta included, the only thing is you weigh everything that is a carb and you dont weigh the protein (well I ddn't anyway!)

Hope that helped x
