no pcos but estrogen dominance

Postby hunnybunny23 » Tue Mar 27, 2012 10:41 am

so my estrogen is high its 2200 when it should be no more than 400. my dr said its because im 8kg overweight i dont qualify for 100mg of clomid and i dont qualify for metformin as she said i am not insulin resistant and refused to test me. they havnt sent me for an ultrasound and dont want to assist my weight loss. they have basically sent me away and told me to lose 18lbs and then come back and if im still not having af then they will start clomid. i have lost 3kg since december but im struggling and they wouldnt help. its going to be another 4-8 months before i even see any medical help from drs.
how depressing

We are ruled by the NHS so no choices here I'm afraid they are following a pathway to say no fertility help for fat people full stop even if they need help with it. Bloody joke ;(
