Geritol Complete Poll

Postby Emmo » Tue Nov 09, 2010 12:33 pm

I'm very curious about Geritol Complete. I've seen so many success stories over the past few years I've been on this site. So, I'm making a poll for all the ladies who have taken it and either 1)got a bfp or 2) took it several months and still no BFP.

Update:
OK, so I looked into Clomid's success rates..... I'm copying and pasting here...

Research shows that about 40 percent of women using Clomid are able to conceive within the first three cycles. About 50 percent of women are able to conceive within six months of use.

Pretty interesting, huh? Comparing that to our GC stats here... why aren't Dr.s telling ladies to take this stuff?

Granted, many people who are prescribed Clomid are having fertility problems and not all the ladies who voted on this poll were having fertility probs, so that's something to consider. But, many also did have problems. Including me- who was prescribed clomid, but then I found out I was preggo before taking it.

Also, how many months did you TTC before you tried GC??

I got my BFP on my first cycle of GC after 9 months TTC.

2nd cycle, here.

I did 3 Clomid cycles, and it was my 3rd Clomid cycle I got my BFP, but 2nd for GC.

Here's how it went:

Cycle 1
Clomid 50 mgs
Prenatal Vitamin
O'd CD 16 no BFP

Cycle 2
Clomid 100 mgs
GC
Folic Acid
NO O

Cycle 3
Clomid 100 mgs
Metformin 1500 mgs
GC
Folic Acid
Mucinex CD 5-20 (for fertile cm help)
O'd CD 16 - BFP 9 DPO!!!

* TTC 2 years, 4 natural conceptions 4 losses, 1 ectopic, 2 early losses, 1 loss @ 10 weeks to Triplody, 1 medicated BFP carried to term :)

We did not prevent since 2001. I started taking Geritol after reading about it on here. I took it for at least six months and then tried FertilAid. It took IVF for us, but it worked the first time!!

I started taking Geritol Complete 4 months ago and I have yet to get my BFP. It might work for some ladies but it was no miracle pill for me!

I took GC the cycle I got pregnant with my second baby- I had 2 back to back m/c before that but that one was a sticky :)
I read that GC is simply a multivitamin, however, the mix/ratio of all the vitamins/ nutrients etc combined in that pill is perfect in helping fertilization and implantation. I think their slogan used to be "baby in every bottle". I definately think it's worth trying!

So far, only 28% of people who took it didn't get a BFP within 3 months.

Largest number- BFP first cycle...? Not too shabby.

Got a BFP the first month taking it, that ended in M/C at 5 weeks.then I started taking it again took it for about 4 months no luck. I do not think its a miracle vitamin anymore. but then we were also struggling with male factor.

Yea, I def think it can be a miracle pill for some people by making things more susceptible to conception, but obviously not going to cure everything.

Especially male factor, lol.

just a thought but most women having IF have hormone issues and that surpasses a simple bottle of vitamins if you know what i mean. Anyway if your problem isn't hormonal, i would definitely give these a try, it might just work!
