Hi! I'm glad I found this. I'm doing Soy this month. 3-7 I think I just ovulated yesterday. Just have to wait for my cross hairs from FF.

Luvinmybelly. I noticed the same thing that was super weird this cycle. I normally never have af for more than 5 days..ever!! This cycle I did till cd 6. It actually kinda freaked me out. Whenever I have had a regular cycle or a long annov cycle. I still only bleed for 5 days. Hopefully your DH is right!:)

Hope it's a good sign for us!!!:) :jump:

Good luck!! I have never bled like that before, and if it happened to you too, it must be from the soy. I couldn't find anything online about it being a side effect though. Have you felt any different this cycle? I haven't, other than my temps are a bit more steady than they normally are, and I have been having lots of sharp pains on my lower sides. I don't usually have those. I think I'm gearing up to O though, if I do before CD 20, I'll be happy since it's been happening so late in my cycles.

I find that I'm not feeling as hormonal as last cycle. My bbs are not as sore as they were before. I'm still having some tenderness and cramping though. lots of cm. I can't believe I actually ovulated. wow! lol

Good luck to you this cycle!!!

I couldn't find much either about the bleeding with soy. Weird.

So glad you posted this!

I need to do something.

I'm on CD 44 with no O.

This is so frustrating! I was really starting to think my BBT was dying, but no, my first annov cycle since TTC. My temps are normally pretty steady.

I normally O on my own, just very late. Does the soy help bring it sooner?

Supposedly if you take it days 3-7, it will help bring on O sooner. And days 1-5 will produce better quality eggs. Or so I've read! According to my chart I haven't O'd yet, or my thermometer is broken. One or the other. lol I did take it days 1-4 so that could be why. Good luck!!!! Let me know how it goes.

I'm having all kinds of pinchy pains on my sides still. Ive had that off and on this whole cycle. I've never had that before. And my temps are really even. Like I'm convinced it's never going to be anything other than 97.0! lol

Well, looks like I O'd!! I'm 2 dpo. YAY! I went and got 3 $tree hpts to use when I get farther into it. I also picked up 2 opks. I took one and it's negative. Kinda dark, but more like a post O darkness. (since my others pre O were so light.) I should have used them all along, but my temping seems to be showing a clear ovulation so that's okay. I'll take the other tomorrow just to verify that it's getting lighter. (last cycle I had a clear positive opk and the next day it was still dark but a bit lighter, so it shows that mine taper down rather than do a sharp drop.)

So now we wait. I think we'll dtd a final time tonight (well, final HAVE TO DO THIS time. haha) to make sure, cause I've had lots of fertile cm today (but that could be just some left over love juice. TMI I know, but look what site this is. ), and then we'll be able to relax and see if this soy helped at all. :D :D :D :D

hey girls just wanted to add in that a few months ago I took soy on days5-9 and I O'd on cd 14!!! that is the first time ever of me O'ing on cd 14 like "normal" woman does! it blew me away. I also had the strongest O!!! I've ever felt!! I've never even felt anything like it. I've always just felt a little twinge or pulling sensation here or there around O time but never like I did on the soy cycle. it was so amazing and exciting all at once. I could actually feel my ovaries working so to say to produce that nice big egg, and I had dull aching/cramps in both ovaries I believe, they were almost like dull period feeling cramps but not in the same area I could tell it was my ovaries. and man did they hurt!! I had to take ibuprofen cuz it hurt so bad. not like a crying take me to the hospital bad but just an annoying aching bad. nothing scary at all.

as far as side effects I didn't get anything at all. I felt fine on it so as far as the headaches and the spotting I'm not sure if those are side effects of the soy, I don't think I've read anything about that. I took mine before bed so that I didn't feel any side effects but during the day I never felt anything other then like the first day of taking the soy I got anxiety cuz I'm dumb haha and I tend to freak out when I take new pills cuz I don't know how my body will react so I felt a little effed up but that was cuz of the anxiety of taking a new pill lol after the 2nd day I was totally fine cuz I knew the pills didn't do anything weird to me. but keep me updated on ur progress! I hope this cycle brings u ur bfp!!!

I used soy for months to regulate my cycle, and it helped me O each cycle on CD17 (which was better then like CD22-24)...i took it CD3-7 and CD2-6 and in different doses but the earliest i ever got O was CD17...but it never got my BFP

luvin- your chart is looking great!! good luck this cycle

Thank you Becky!

I credit my chart to the soy. it has never, ever ever looked so consistant. plus my O day was earlier than normal. I'm pretty happy with it! I just hope tomorrow gets a big rise.

After using soy this cycle, I reccommend it to anyone who hasn't seeked fertility treatments and has an irregualr cycle. It has done wonders for me this month.

I think it took it too soon, but I took it CD 1-4 and only 80 mg. However, I was only spotting those days so it was technically too early. I should have waited until I was really bleeding I think. Seems to have worked anyway. lol
