So 150mg of clomid and 2000mg of metformin does not sound like a good plan to the df. He doesn't like that it will take so many pills. So I basically think with out meds I have no chance. I do not O on my own, no ewcm, low to no progesterone and sometimes my cycles can get up to 90 days. I don't know if we will have made a decision on whether or not to use the meds b4 I am scheduled to (cd 3-7), unless that is the decision. I may be cd1 tomorrow, I have red spotting right now and af is 2 days late but no cramps.

Is there anything I can do to help myself O or give myself a shorter cycle this upcoming cycle? Anything that will give me a slight chance? Any help will be much appreciated, since I think df is done with us using that many meds.

Anything for ewcm?

I had the same thing happen. No O, but my chart showed a O, but progesterone showed no O. My doctor explained it to me as a 'weak' O and that cycle is considered failure. I O'd 2 of my 6 clomid cycles at 150mgs. If your progesterone was low it could indicate a weak O, but it could be maybe a progesterone defiency. Have you tried progesterone cream or progesterone supplements? I wish I could tell you how to regulate your cycles, but i have been battling irregular cycles since Ive been ttc (01/2006). What has brought my cycles to a semi-normal pattern has been a healthy vegetarian diet, daily exercise, lots of vitamins and supplements, wheatgrass, and an occasional progesterone shutdown. But even with all this I still get the occasional long annovulatory cycle. If you are not want to take meds, cinnamon and inositol are supposed to be natural replacements for metformin. Soy is also supposed to be a natural alternative to clomid, but it doesnt work fo reveryone. I didnt have luck with it but some do.
