Soy Isoflavones

Postby AmyLene » Mon Apr 16, 2012 6:11 am

Looking at the Soy isoflavones, very hard to get in Australia, from reading other ttc boards a lot of the aussie girls seem to take these

http://www.blackmores.com.au/Products/phytolife

The active ingredients are
"Glycine max (Soy bean) extract equivalent to dry seed
(standardised to contain isoflavone glycosides 50 mg) 33.5 g (33,500 mg)
Calcium hydrogen phosphate 450 mg"

I'm not seeing to much diffences in ingredients apart from this and the Soy isoflavones is some have Genistein, Daidzein and Glycitein or Red clover...

Are those other ingredients important or is the Soy/soy isoflavones/soy bean the most important?

I don't know about the other things you listed but the red clover is a natural blood thinner among the other things it does. It's in my dd's asthma tea and we have to monitor how much she drinks because of that.
