Trying Soy Iso's.. Nervous

Postby kittykat722 » Sun Nov 11, 2012 4:45 pm

After being denied clomid last month, I've decided to try soy this cycle. I'm nervous because I've read so many mixed things about it. Some say don't take it if you O regularly while others say it can help those who ovulate have a stronger O.

My regular OBGYN thinks I would benefit from at least trying clomid because although I do O every month my cycles are a bit irregular. So, she referred me to an associate of hers at a different location so I could get the proscription but then I got denied by her. I have been reading about soy and feel like its worth a shot but I'm nervous about it negatively affecting my cycle.

Anyone have experience with taking Soy even though they O every month? TIA

I'm in the same boat and have been trying 7+ months :( I've also been thinking about trying SI but am worried it might mess my.cycles up worse than they already? Any advice or thoughts from women who have tried it would be amazing!! BTW OP good luck and I hope we can get some input from some soy mommas on here :-)

I have heard both negative and positive outcomes with soy. I would lean towards not using it if you are Oing regularly. It is so hard to get back to that if your body is thrown off hormonally!
