Hi Mountainbaby

Congratulations! That's wonderful news! Yes, I did acupuncture as part of the TCM treatment for 3 weeks before I tried to conceive and for the first trimester, once a week. I hope all goes well for you, congrats again!! :D

Hey ladies,

I am trying acupuncture with a trained tcm lady soon, so excited as I have never been before and always wanted to try it. I decided to give it a go for stress and anxiety/insomnia following a recent loss and a horrible experience with early pregnancy unit, I just don't trust them with my one remaining tube. I really hope they can help me. Any advice for me on what to ask or look out for? Great thread and congrats to the recent birth and bfps! :D

Hi Sept2014

Welcome to the thread! So glad you are trying TCM. My suggestions would be to make sure your practitioner is accredited (if you google TCM association you should be able to find accredited practitioners in your area), and to make sure you get a full assessment from her/him before you agree to long term treatment. If someone says it will only take a few weeks I would look for another practitioner. From my experience it can take some time to get the body ready for conception, and it's normally more than just acupuncture and tea- it's diet change as well. It's not easy but it's worth it! Best of luck to you and let us know if you have more questions. Happy to try to give you my thoughts :D

Yes the tongue reveals so much about our health. I noticed a difference soon after starting my treatment. Sounds like you're on the right track. :D

Hi ladies,
Just thought that I would let you know that I got my BFP this morning!!! I am extremely excited and a little bit nervous. It has been a long journey and I don't think I would have got there without TCM. I hope everyone else is doing well

There are many instances where acupuncture has emerged as a boon for some ailments. If you are taking acupuncture for fertility support then there are many acupuncture centers and arthritis clinic Fairfax VA who are known to performs these techniques. I suggest you to only go for famous acupuncture centers those have 5-10 years of experience in this field.

Unfortunately the pregnancy was ectopic. I had to have surgery to remove the baby and my right tube.
