:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Oh how WONDERFUL!!!! You are both pregnant at the same time!!! CONGRATULATIONS to both of you ladies. I am so pleased for you both. All that hard work is finally paying off. YAY!! I have goosebumps I'm so happy for you both.

Please, please keep relaxed and don't stress. If you can keep up the acupuncture and tea go for it. I did it through my first trimester (with some adjustments to both the tea and the acupuncture).

Wonderful news! Please keep me posted. If you are posting on the preg board let me know your usernames so I can follow you there.

Wahoo!!

Sept. I'm not using herbs anymore either and, just like mountain baby, my acupuncturist make up the medicine for me so I don't know what was in it. If you're not too sure about the ba zhen wa maybe ask her if she can make you something?

Mountainbaby I have had a similar experience to you. I had brown discharge and went to the ER because I have O- blood and have to have anti-D whenever I bleed during pregnancy. The gynaecologist that saw me told me that I was miscarrying so DH and I were of course devastated. Two days later I had a call from the early pregnancy clinic and the nurse was really optimistic and said that everything was probably fine. I went in the next day for a scan and saw the heart beat! I was quite annoyed at the first doctor I saw but mostly just relieved that my baby was ok.

I hope everyone is doing well :)

Hi ladies! I hope you don't mind me jumping in, but this whole thread has given me a lot of hope. I am getting over my second chemical pregnancy (booooooo) and I just contacted an acupuncturist. I was looking for success stories and found this thread. It just have me a feeling of relief to read this, thank you!! I hope you update this thread once in awhile, and I hope my treatments are as successful as yours. Although, I have to say I'm not looking forward to this tea, lol.

Hi maimee! Welcome to the thread :-) There's another one just below this one that outlines more of my journey with TCM. I hope you find hope and strength from it. I can tell you that TCM does work, it's just a matter of finding a good practitioner in your area and following the recommended treatment including diet, acupuncture, and tea. If you have any questions please post away. The ladies here are very friendly. All the best to you!

Thank you so much! I'm waiting until after my first period after my chemical to make an appointment, but I've been going to the same masseuse for years, and she has joined forces with a licensed acupuncturist. So we've been emailing.fingers crossed!!

I've got my first acupuncture appointment tomorrow! First things first, getting back on track after my most recent loss, it's been a nightmare. Then hopefully bfp by the end of the year.

Hi All,

I read through your posts and just wanted to jump in, if that's alright with you!
Last week I started acupuncture with an amazing woman who I have a great feeling will be able to help my DH & I conceive. We've recently hit the 24 month mark TTC and I've seen fertility specialists who basically make me feel like I'm just being impatient rather than being genuinely helpful. Mu acupuncturist feels that we don't really have a 'fertility' issue, as I'm ovulating regularly without medication, and my cycles are pretty regular. I have slightly low progesterone, and a short LP (10 d), so I've started insertable progesterone tablets post O to help lengthen my LP and hopefully help a little bean stick if we manage to conceive. We've had one "confirmed" CP in January that ended practically before it began. I had seen an acupuncturist (but only got one treatment) that does meridian assessments to determine balance within the body, including food intollerance and she saw pregnancy hormones and other signs of pg at 5 dpo. I had a few faint BFPs on 6 & 8 dpo, but by the time af was due to arrive the bfps were gone and she came about 2 days later. It was a sad time, but I saw it as an optimistic thing that we could at least get pg...
So, months later a high school friend posted that she was accepting patients at her acupuncture clinic and I decided to give it a try.
I apparently picked the idea time to start, as I was due to O early this week, and I saw her last Thursday for the first time. She has seen me every day this week, and I feel amazing. I have never really had 'o-pains' before, but this cycle I had sharp distinct pains at my right ovary on Monday night, and she said that was to be expected because she was sending all the energy to my ovaries. She said it is very encouraging and promising that I am responding so well so quickly. She really feels like she can help. All her signs say that it's my stomach that's the problem, not my reproductive system.

Anyway - I just thought it would be great to connect with some women who have gone through similar treatments, and I am so happy to see the successes! I have no grand expectations that the first month/week of treatments will give me a miracle bfp first cycle, but I do feel optimistic that seeing her will really help.

Hope you don't mind that I dropped in on your posts. Babydust to all :)

Oh, and I forgot to add that she is getting me some herbs that she thinks will help with balancing my stomach, but that she doesn't think I need the full suite of fertility herbs. I think mine will be in pill form, which is nice, since I have heard over and over again how unpleasant the herb teas taste ;) If it works, I'll endure, but if I can avoid I'll be happy to take it in pills :)

Hi velvetshimmer and welcome aboard the TCM train! :-) It's so great to hear that things are already improving for you and it sounds like you've got a great practitioner. There's nothing better than feeling those ovulation twinges! :-) Please keep us posted. I am now living vicariously through all you ladies who are recently positive or close to it. It's so exciting!

Hi velvet! I just jumped in here too. I had my first appt today and it went really well. She thinks my liver is causing me issues, as neither my husband or I have been diagnosed with any fertility issues.I'm still coming of a rotten miscarriage, trying to get my cycle back on track, then ready to try again. Good luck this cycle, I hope it's your bfp!!
