Just my thoughts!

Yeah, I do know what you mean. I don't think it affects the outcome but part of me wonders maybe just a tiny bit if mine would have worked if i had done bed rest. Like I say, I don't think so... but why wonder if you can take bed rest then it can't hurt.

Oh, I don't know though... thinking again I also read that a normal amount of activity keep your blood flowing nicely to your body and womb and everything.

Hahaha, I am going round in circles.

Anyway, lets see if anyone else votes and see if we have any interesting results :D

Oh right... I didn't realise the whole bed rest or no bed rest thing was only due to the lining.

Sorry, I thought this was sarcasm!!

No it wasn't. I would not do that. The written word is so tricky. Not to worry.

Gonna see the doctor person (God knows what to call him) on Friday. Don't want to go. Don't want to do the whole 'who are you' thing that we always seem to go through. Depressing. Meant to be asking what could be changed second time round etc... but quite frankly what is the point... he won't remember.

Not to beat it to death, but you were being serious when you said that bedrest or no bedrest is only due to lining? Really?

OK I am really confused now!

Jen, stay strong.. you ask the questions and write down the answers and every time you see the re or the nurses, you remind them what he said..
I want you to have a good shot. I wrote down all that my re said... then i had the nurses make copies of my files for me.. I can tell you everything about my first cycle that was written down. And i made notes since i feel there were parts missing.. this time around i am much more knowledgable and not going to take anything as that is normal.. if i question it then someone better have an answer for it.. now you get to see the real Kris.. I think the first ivf made me too much of a happy person.. now i stand and fight for my rights. lol

Hey want me to talk to your re.. lol... you better be giggling..

Yes. Irish inferred that if you had a good lining you would not need to do bed rest so I was asking is that the only reason why it is recommended... cos of thin linings? We have all heard of bed rest but I had never heard a possible explanation as to why it might help. It sounded an interesting theory.

I could not understand what I had said that had made you laugh so much.

Hahaahaha, they better watch it this time round, hey.

Well what I really want to ask him is why my transfer was noted as difficult. Not a lot I can do about that now though. If they had said on the day 'heck that transfer was tricky' I could have asked why. it would have been productive. But no, nothing was said til i get my lab report weeks later and now what... if I ask him now he won't know cos he won't have made a note and he won't remember me from all the others he did that day.

I am part laughing part wanting to bang my head on a hard object.... or shall I wait til friday for that

Oh Jen, its not what you said.. but what i was saying. I was asking if you wanted me to start in with your re about not knowing who you were. I just wish you had a different one you could go to. I dont think i could deal with someone who didnt know who i was.. I tend to make impressions on people so they dont forget me..

On a good note... i am looking forward to the happy drugs again.. lol

It made me laugh because it was a silly theory and I truly thought you were being sarcastic.

If it were due to lining, the dr's recommendations would be customized to each patient. But each dr office in fact has its own policy on the subject and their own recommendation that they give to ALL patients.

I have seen polls like this in the past and typically there is no correlation. I believe there have been studies done to determine whether movement has any effect on the embryos in the uterus and it doesn't. They are squished in there and can't go anywhere anyway.
