AUG/SEPT PART 6

Postby LorrieS » Thu Oct 28, 2010 10:26 am

Thought I'd start us a new thread before we get locked out!!

Here's the last post from the other thread (Part 5)

Lisa - You are the sweetest person ever!!!! I have tears in my eyes. Just to know you were thinking of me like that, it makes me cry. I know I'm one of 'those' cases, stories....it's all very sad really when I even think about it, but things will work out someway, somehow. I just had to get a grip on myself. This past month or so I've been really angry and quite 'ugly' with how I was feeling that I just didn't feel right in my skin anymore and knew I had to 'repent' and start all over and get back to myself again. I'm on my way. God knows this and I have to keep trying. You are right though, I WILL be a great Mom!! Biologically or not, the baby I am finally blessed with will be the one I was meant to have!

I thinking of you during this TWW and praying for your BFP!!! Come on Cheapy tests!!!! :D

Hi ladies.

Nikki - GL with surgery honey.

Lorrie - You're constantly in my prayers.

AFM - Loopy on lupron lol. Today is day 1 of AF, baseline appt is Nov 2nd, and stims start Nov 4th! I'm trying to be cautious b/c I have watched so many of you have bad situations but i'm also trying to be excited. Even though it's luck of the draw my nurse said they look for high odds for me with my age, no m/c's, and one previous healthy pregnancy. Fingers crossed :|

Lorrie thank tou for the new thread...I agree with Lisa...you will be an amazing mother...I've tried to think of ways I could help you...if I have a successful cycle and know my eggs are good I would be more than willing to donate them to you! I want you knocked up so bad! You deserve this! You have been through so much yet you stay so positive! You are always in my thoughts and prayers and I know one day you will be a Mommy!

I hope everyone is doing well...I'm exhausted...nausious...angry...I hate I still have all the pregnancy symptoms...its a horrible thing my body is doing this to me...hopefully I have answers tomorrow and I have a plan...or I at least don't feel so lost!

ALL of you ladies amaze me with your strength!

Mommy to one-I'm so sorry you're going through this. With every one of my m/c I did the same thing you are doing. It's our nature to want to hang on to those babies and pray until the possiblity of a miracle is no more. My heart is with you tomorrow.

Lorrie-Oh, I do pray that the good Lord opens a window for you soon.

Nikki-I hope the time passes quickly for your surgery and then on to the FET!

Lisa-There's always hope for this IUI. I don't think there are enough jumpies to post for how excited I would be at that. I really like your second opinion doc though! So, if you go onto the ivf...that protocol seems very promising!

New Mommy-Lovely loopron! I agree, your odds are great that you'll have a successul cycle!

desperate-NOPE...you'll never stop worrying. I hear that will go on forever too! It will be exciting to see that heart beat!

carrie-I'd be getting frustrated too if I were you. I do hope you hear something, at least a nibble of info, soon!

profshopper-hope all is well with you! I can't believe how far along you ladies are! I had a few times where I was starting to calculate how far along I would have been. I stopped myself. When I see your tickers, I am always so surprised at how fast time goes.

Hi to anyone I missed!

Lorrie - Thanks hun :D It's good to hear you talking positive. I don't know how you stay so determined after everything you've been through, but I know it's going to pay off. Don't ever give up! And whether the baby is biological or not, you will still love that baby & he/she will love you just as a biological child would. The bond is more important than blood.

MommyToOne - Praying for you today! I hope they find a miracle at your appt! We are here for you!

NewMommy - Oh, the joys of Lupron! I just know this will be your one and only time having to go through this & it's going to work!! :D

Kari - I hope you're holding up okay. Thanks so much for cheering me on! You're such a sweet and caring person.

Nikki - Ugh, I hate this waiting. When is your surgery?

Carrie - Any news yet? I hate that you are having to wait! :x

desperategrl and profshopper - Hi! Hope you and the babies are good.

:hi: to anyone I missed!

AFM - I tested this morning and it's blazing positive, but it's not real! :) It's one day since I took my hcg booster shot. It will be at least another few days before I can tell if it's a real BFP or not.

New Mommy - Thanks for the prayers. Yay for getting things underway! It won't be long ER will be here and then ET!!! :D I would agree with your nurse, 24 is a great age for egg quality and quantity!

Mommy - Thanks for the kind words as well. Sorry what you're going through. I'm thinking of you today and praying for a miracle when you go to your appt. :hugs:

Kari - :hi: hun! I hope those doors open too, I'm feeling better and opening my heart once again and letting the Lord work in my favor! There's only one way and that's through HIM!

Lisa - :omg:!!!!! You freaked me out too! But how come you do an HCG shot on 7dpo?? I never heard of that. :?

:hi: EOE!

Not much going on. On DAY 3 of Femara, starting temps this morning. Slight headache, but no craziness as I always had on Clomid. So we shall see how this cycle goes. I'd love to know if I get some good follies, but I'm not being monitored, so no use wishing to know that. Oh well, hoping for a natural miracle till another door opens.

Busy weekend ladies. I have Halloween Movie Night at work for the kiddies, dinner party tomorrow night at my house with some friends and my furbaby Candy who turns 6 on Sunday (Halloween - hence the name Candy lol) and then we're not going all out like usually for Halloween Sunday evening with decor, just passing out candy that's all. Not in the 'mood' this year. Kids in the neighborhood will be disappointed because we always go ALL OUT and spook the house up, but with everything I've been through this year, my energy for such is not there. Can't blame me, and I don't. They'll get over it. Next year I hope to be in better spirits!!

Have a great day and weekend girls!

Lorrie - i was reading your tag talking about endurance and you are definitely a testament to endurance. What you have gone through over the years is unimaginable to a lot of people. I am gald to hear you are getting back to your presence with God, but I am sure even God understands your anger and distance at times. He grieves over it, but He understands it too. You are in my prayers a lot. You have more than paid your dues and I pray that you will have your baby very soon.

desperate - That fluttering could very well indeed be baby movement. I always felt it super early with my pregnancies. How exciting for you

prof - how are you doing, any fluttering for you yet?

Lisa - you gave me a mall heart attack too, lol. I hope the week goes by quickly and the bfp never stops blazing

Kari - good to see you on here, yes i got a little info, but not much. See below...

Mommy - thinking of you today. Hoping you have your answers soon

Newmommy - WooHoo for starting! I know November can't get here soon enough, but it has got to feel great to actually be getting going now.

nikki - Hoping the next few weeks pass quickly for you so you can have your surgery and get going with FET.

AFM, I finally heard back on Tuesday. Essentially, they are still on hold for starting the next batch. I am planning to call back later today and find out if this is a planned hold until after the holidays or not. Right now DH and I are living on tentative plans while we wait to find out when we will start. It is frustrating and exciting at the same time to think we could get a call literally any day. The other frustrating part is the infertility diet I am on. The longer I am on it, the harder it is not to want to cheat - especially through the holidays. We are entering the season where patients and vendors and higher ups in the hospital want to send goodies and treats to the unit, and not one darn thing is on my ok list. Although I allow myself cheats every once in a while, it is really hard day after day to look at that stuff and see everyone else enjoying it and turn it down. It is even harder cause I'm not overweight and people just give me dirty looks when I say, sorry that is not on my diet, but thanks. I just have to keep my eye on the prize (easier said than done when we can't actually TRY right now).
Carrie Me 37 DH 34 DS#1 7 ; DS#2&3 born 3/11/09. Lost DS#3 to SIDS 10/14/09 - I miss my angel every day. IVFx2, FETx2, still have 2 frozen

Quick update - I had my 12 u/s and everything looks great.. 173 heartbeat. She tried a 3d u/s to check gender but HER legs were crossed so we could not confirm that she's a girl. It was so cute, really looks like a baby now!
