Jlojenjen: No clue on the Difflucan. Sorry!

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! My hubby threw me a surprise party and it was fabulous! Even better AF arrived this morning!!! Never been so stoked to see her. Calling the RE in the a.m. I pulled out my box of meds. I have alot of donated meds and a fridge full of Follistim. My heart started pounding out of my chest. EEEKKK!!!!

Anyone want to make us a cool front page so we can keep track of everyone? I don't have a clue how.

Happy belated birthday Seppie!! yay for AF showing the day after. What meds will you be on?

A front page sounds great..I have no clue how to put all the flashy bits on, so I will leave it for someone more competent!!

Its mid march already. April will be here before we know it!

I have no clue how to do the front page either.....

Kez: The time will hopefully go by quickly!

Seppie: Happy birthday. How sweet of your hubbie to throw you a party and even better-AF came.

jlojen: I would go ahead and take it now before your cycle starts. That way you don't have to worry about it. I have taken in once or twice and it is super easy and quite effective.

eseptember: Looking back, I am happy I picked up my meds from the pharmacy as I could speak immediately with the pharmacist and ask what I was supposed to do with all of these meds....It is pretty overwhelming.

AFM: Estrogen is going fine. I am trying to get psyched up for this cycle but not feeling it right now. A lot of my friends have recently had successful cycles which is encouraging!

I had bw and ultrasound this morning. Everything looked good. Got my script for bc pill and start it on Thursday. HOLY s**t I am actually doing this again!!! Still can't believe it.
Only bad news is I was hoping the office could hook me up with some Repronex for this cycle but they only had two expired boxes. They expired Jan 2011. Any thoughts on this? Where can I get some cheap?
CATWOMANBABY: Any side effects from the estrogen?

ALLISGOOD: What is new with you? Ready for this?

jlojenjen...wow sounds like you have been through a lot. Good for you that you keep digging to find out your difficulties. Sometimes we just have to be our own advocates. I am really hoping that this IVF pays off for you.

I just had my IVF consult yesterday and this just sound like the way to go for a woman my age. This is all out of pocket so I was really hoping for something to happen on its own. However, it will be a great investment when it works for us!

I am so annoyed. Apparently tww changed servers this morning and everything I posted last night and this morning was deleted. Just mine for some reason. :x Now I have to rewrite everything to everyone on here.

fittblonde - I have done pretty much every route there is and if this works it is definitely the way to go over spending money on other treatments. Especially when it is all out of pocket.

jlojenjen - I know how to do a front page, but it will take me a few days to get to a point where I would have time to put one together - so if anyone beats me to it, go for it. Yay for being done with bcp. That is my least favorite part of treatment. Hopefully AF will come sooner rather than later for you.

allisgood - yay for getting started. It's a great feeling to know things are finally moving along.

Seppie - won't be long for you either. Once you start that bcp, it becomes so real.

cat - I know what you mean about not completely feeling psyched about it. I so want to be excited but I end up feeling more trepidation than anything. I am sure things will go well for both of us though.

kez - how are things for you?

eseptember - the drugs aren't as overwhelming once you actually start getting into it, but that first look sure does give a little heart rush doesn't it? How did your biopsy go?

inlove - has AF ever showed for you? Hoping you have gotten started by now.

AFM, I finally had my f/u appointment with my RE and it went well. We get to start right away on our FET. I am expecting AF by Friday which means I have 2 days to get my meds in order. :omg: Feels almost surreal at this point. The good news is that we can have all of our monitoring done in my area so I will only have to travel for the FET itself. But now it is up to me to make all the arrangements between now and when I need everything done. Thankfully, that gives me just over 2 weeks to get things in order. Also, she is willing to put me back on blood thinners which is what I was on when I got pg with the twins. So yay yay!

Hi all! My AF finally showed! I have a saline sono next week which I'm not really looking forward to but I'm excited to get moving. So my story is my DH and I are going away for our 5 year anniversary the first week of may so I have to time my IVF cycle around that. i'm going to have one more regular period prior to going away, when I get my next AF in April, I'm going to start Lupron and BCP. I'm going to continue those until I get back from vacation then start stims the second week of May! I'm planning on a mid may transfer!

On another note, one of my best friends is moving to the town next to mine and told me last month that she is going to try to get pg. She of course got pregnant her first month of trying   Now she keeps telling me to "get a move on" because she wants us to be pregnant together. I don't tell her about my IVF history because my DH is very private and she is the type to blab. Basically I don't know how to really keep her from asking me so many questions and bugging me without hurting her feelings- i'm also dealing with some feelings of envy/self-pity that I feel bad about. I want to fully be excited for her but it is really hard right now.

Sorry for my mini vent! Does anyone want to take the reins and do the front page? Does anyone know how to do it? I can try if no one else wants to but I have no idea how to do it!
Me- 27- Tests show everything works perfectly!
DH- 36- SA results = 80 million, 30% motility (3% forward progressive), <1% strict morphology- Diagnosis= severe male factor infertility

IVF #1, 11/09- BFP! Its a girl! Born 8/18/09

Tried naturally for 1.5 years after my DD was born... guess things still don't work right!

FET #1, 01/11- BFP! at 6w

IVF #2- 5/11- 11 eggs retrieved, 9 fert! Hoping for a day 5 transfer.... grow babies grow!!
5/31/11- BPF!! on FRER!
Baby girl #2 due 2/10/12 :)

inlove - I'll try to get to it tonight. I'll have to start a whole new thread though. Sorry about your friend. I think we all know someone like that. They mean the best, but they have no idea how their ease to get pregnant just silently adds to our own misery. If she starts asking questions you can be vague or just tell her now is not the right time for you and DH. Give the economy as an excuse or just tell her you will know when the time is right. She doesn't have to know that by economy you mean getting all your financial ducks in a row for the up coming IVF. It is a tough place to be in that is for sure.

AFM, AF JUST made her appearance. So in the morning I'll call and get things rolling. Good thing my meds will arrive tomorrow too! I should start estrogen on Sunday. Here we go..................
