Thanks for all of your lovely replies. We had our first IVF appointment yesterday and after much deliberation and discussion (and MANY tears) have decided not to proceed with IVF. Given our circumstances and my age the low stats for a BFP would be too much of a gamble to loose over $6000. I will continue with clomid for another few months and then naturally until November next year (I will be 40 and that is our cut off). I'm not giving up but if it doesnt happen for us I know that we can make new goals to focus on. My only regret is that my DH has no children of his own and he is not even 30. I feel guilty that I may not be able to give him any but he says that he would not have thought of ever marrying anyone else. I'm very lucky.

Good luck to everyone! I'm going to back off from this site for a while because, although I never begrudge anyone their BFP, its a little hard to take seeing so many double lines right now. I wish everyone their BFPs.
