Hi Ladies,

I am about 15DPO. I am wondering if it will stick though. My initial quantitative HCG at 13DPO was 10. I hadn't even gotten a BFP HPT yet. I got my first BFP on a blue Wondfo at 14DPO, and it is faint. They pick up at 20-25 so I have heard. I hope so. I am trying not to invest too much emotionally yet. My implantation cramps were at 9DPO, so maybe it was a late implanter. I am asking my PCP to order two more HCG blood draws to see if I am doubling or not. If I am not, then we will need to quit the progesterone and let nature take its course. I'll keep you guys posted.

As of Friday my HCG was up to 75. My doubling time is 33.02 and the doctor seems happy about it. I feel pregnant. Heartburn, fatigue, round ligament pain, mild morning nausea, constant hunger, constant thirst. The only thing that hasn't changed are my bbs since I am still nursing.

Hopefully this pregnancy will be successful!

Hope you are all well.

Witchmagpie yay!!!! FX your bean sticks!!!! Sending lots of positive vibes! How are Ari and Soren?

Adventurer: I bet your starting to feel a bit restless. So close yet so far!!! Got the nursery all good to go?

Midwest, hope all is well. Have you decided if you're going to do IVF again or are you going to sit and see? Such a crappy situation. :(

AFM: This are crazy busy. Two kids 18 months apart is rough! Kate wasn't a very good baby either. Not colicky like ODD was, but sooooo high needs. She's 6 months and still wakes up every 3 hours at night and only naps 30 minutes at a time. Thankfully she is getting better, but it's been a rough 6 months! At least they're cute.

Claire is two now and soooo much fun! I love this age.

But DH and I decided we're stopping at two kids. Two high needs babies pretty much drained us haha. Plus two girls is really nice. :)
Me (Whitney): 25; Right tube removed due to hydrosalpinx and left tube/ovary covered in scar tissue/adhesions
DH: 26; great swimmers
Married June 2009 & TTC #1 since June 2011
Aug-Sept 2012 IVF: ER 41 eggs, 41 Mature, 28 Fertilized, transferred 1 5AA and have 7 snowbabies!

Hi, ladies! I've missed you!

Adventurer - Congratulations! And thanks for the encouragement on the "crazy schedules" thread. Nice to hear from others who have walked this road, too.

Magpie - :yay: Hooray for babies AND grandbabies! FX that all works out well this time, and you're sure going to have a house full of pattering little feet, with all the joy they bring. Happy for you.

Emerald - Good to hear from you again, too! Did baby Kate end up having to have surgery for her heart, or did the septal defect close on its own? Sounds like the two girls are an adorable handful. Are you still at home, or are you working again?

Suzy - :hi: Thanks for your kind words about putting one foot in front of the other. That was comforting. How are the boys?

AFM - We just finished a freeze-all IVF cycle. It was not pleasant, of course, but not as bad as last time. I was on a different protocol where they stimmed with lower doses over a longer period of time (10 days, compared to 7 days last time), and I'm happy to have avoided OHSS. We had 16 eggs, 14 mature, 13 fertilized, and (like last time) for unclear reasons we didn't have great embryo survival, so we ended up with 2 expanding blastocysts frozen. I was hoping for more because we want to have another baby and don't want to do any more IVF cycles. Single-embryo FET is scheduled for July 17. I'm on the April/May thread but will update you guys, too. If things don't work out with either embryo, I think DH and I will decide to be content with just Ellen, who is a beautiful and amazing little person.
Me: 36, low progesterone/ovulatory dysfunction

Wow, I was just popping in to see how Jenn was doing and we have some new updates! Hi Guys!

Jenn: Just checking in on you. Hope all is going well!

Emerald: I can only imagine how crazy life is with 2 kids under 3 and only 18 months apart. However, it sounds like you are getting closer to having things ease up a bit.

Midwest- First and foremost, BEST of luck with your transfer! I will certainly check in and root for you! Secondly, my DH and I were in the same boat with respect to accepting the one we did have. Our first IVF was successful so we of course thought it would be just as simple the second time. Well, after another IVF and 2 FET's, our last FET being with our final 2 frozen embryos, we had decided to focus on what we had in the event they didn't stick. Obviously, it would have been easier said than done, but it just seemed like we needed to have finality one way or the other. In any event, I am going to keep EVERYTHING crossed that baby #2 sticks! Good luck!

AFM- The boys are doing well. It's crazy how time flies. They are going to be 2 and 5 this year and it seriously trips me out! Life is busy, but good. I had lost all of the weight prior to my IVF#1, but gained another 8 pounds back. I actually started back on weight watchers today. It seems to help keep me in check. In reality, I just need to make better choices.

Hey everyone!

Adventurer: Thanks! It's weird to be only 6 week behind my daughter in pregnancy again. How are you feeling? How is your pregnancy going?

Suzi: Congrats on the weight loss! Don't worry about the eight lbs. You lost them before and you can do it again. I hear you on making better food choices (says Jennifer as she eats her daughter's French toast). I am being better with my food choices most the time. It's always stress that makes me slip up.

Em: Kate sounds like Ari. She still wakes up constantly for nighttime milk, and she's nearly 23 months. We also discovered that she is very light sensitive. Even the slightest glimmer of sunlight and she wakes up. I am debating the advisability of boarding up the bedroom windows! LOL. Happy birthday to Claire! Ari and Soren are well. Soren already wants to help load and unload the dishwasher with me. He has some speech delays, so he isn't speaking much, but he understands nearly everything that Is sais to him. And he is huge. He's already three feet tall. Ari is more verbally advanced and is constantly asking me, "Are you okay? You all right?" She mothers her stuffed toys. I could gush reams about her, but I'll keep it at a minimum.

Midwest: I'm glad you didn't get OHSS with this egg retrieval. FX that your FET is successful. Are you still doing your residency?

AFM: I ended up in the ER last night with chest pains. They were worried it was a blood clot, so I ended up getting x-rays, ct scans, and ultrasounds. Not real happy about all that, especially since they couldn't find anything. They also did a transvaginal to check me for ectopic pregnancy, and so far I just have an empty gestational sac. I am a bit nervous about that, but I keep reminding myself that it was a late implantation and I have a retroverted uterus so we may not be able to see the yolk sac or fetal pole yet. Or it may be a blighted ovum. Only time will tell. My HCG levels were excellent. 12897 at 27DPO which gave me a doubling time of 43.3 hours. For that level of HCG betabase thinks I should be having triplets! I see the MFM OBGYN June 10th, and I am hoping he/she will want another ultrasound to see if there is any change. With the 400mg of P4 I am on daily, I won't miscarry if it is a blighted ovum, so we will need to find out at some point. Hopefully all will be okay. I'll keep you all posted.

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick update. I saw the high risk OB and got another ultrasound. Baby is there and normal sized for 8 weeks. heart rate normal. So that is a relief. I will see them again next Wednesday for a more thorough exam and to learn to give myself lovenox shots. I'm hoping they aren't any worse than menopur, Lupron, and follistim. Hopefully all will continue to progress normally. I do the MaterniT21 test at 10 weeks.

Hope you are all well!

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the lack of update. The fetal DNA testing came back great. No detected issues. I feel blessed. I am now 14.5 weeks along, and as far as I know, everything is going well. I have been struggling a bit with recurring bouts of anemia, but that was something I struggled with as a non-pregnant woman, so I'm not terribly worried, just terribly tired. My daughter is now 20 weeks along and everything looks good for her so far too. She's having another boy and I am having another girl.

Hope you are all well!
