Awww, congratulations! We are doing great! Our baby boy just turned 1 on December 8th and he is starting to walk all over the place! I am weaning him from breastfeeding so we can transfer our only remaining embryo in a few months. Do yall have any frozen babies? So good to hear from you!

Are you breastfeeding? Weaning is going pretty good actually. I think this morning was the last time I'll nurse him though so it's definitely bittersweet. I have to stop breastfeeding (at least 3-6months) in order for my RE to transfer our last embryo. So I know I gave him my all for a whole year so that's a great accomplishment, but it still is sad because what if he was the last baby I'll breastfeed. Very sad. I started dropping a nursing/pumping session when he turned 11 months and I've been slowly cutting one session out every couple of weeks. He's mostly on cow's milk now (since my freezer stash has all been used up too) and he's doing fine with it.

Is your little one sitting up? wanting to crawl? They are so much fun!

Abelle,
Yes im breastfeeding as well, when you cut out a session you just give him a bottle with regular milk in it? Yes she started rolling over, sitting up and talking alot;) I cant wait until she really start to crawl. Im actually excited to go through the ivf process again im hoping for a boy next. Dh really want a son I'm almost tempting to pay to determine the sex. Do you know of anyone who did?

Well I dropped my pumping session at work first because it was the most inconvenient one. For those feedings, I still had frozen milk that I would send them him during the day while I was at work. I had about a 2 month supply of frozen milk so as I dropped a session every week or two, I just used up more and more of my frozen stash. (Just because I wanted him to get all breast milk until he was at least a year old. I recently used up my freezer stash. But as I was finishing up the freezer stash, I'd do a 50/50 mix of breast milk and whole milk just to slowly introduce it to him. Over a week or two, I increased the whole milk and decreased breast milk until it was all whole milk. And he has transitioned great!
