@Raina- I hope you take good care of yourself during the break. Sorry about the clinic acting that way... I think its hard for others to fully understand the frustration

@Twein- Only one more week until you see the new RE, yay! :)

@Midwest- I'm so sorry you are having a hard time and I hope that you are feeling better with the anxiety. I can relate to that. Good idea talking to the counselor. Maybe she can give you some ideas. Also, support groups are great too because it makes you feel a lot less isolated from everyone else. When I joined a group, it really opened my eyes to a lot of the other odds that others are struggling with. It is something that is hard for other people to understand because they are not living it.

@JLG- Congratulations on the u/s! hooray! :) How lucky you were to have such a personable and warm experience. They sound like they are running a nice business. My experience was somewhere in the middle, not bad. I got a few hugs on my way out! lol We are both April peeps! My EDD would be April 8. April 8 is the actual date 5 years ago that I first talked to my husband! How weird

JLG - Hooray for your good ultrasound!

Twein - GL with the new RE tomorrow.

Charlotte - Thanks for the encouragement. I love the coincidence with your dates. How are you feeling?

Alexandra - Miss you! I'm wondering if you're starting to show yet... your sig says 16 weeks (wow, time flies). Did you come up with clever ways to tell people?

AFM - Day 11 ultrasound is tomorrow, and FET is next Wednesday if everything looks good. I've gone to a couple of sessions with the counselor I mentioned, and she had some relaxation ideas for me. I'm a pretty tightly-wound person anyway, but I'm trying! Weirdly, I don't really feel anything specific about our FET, not hope, not excitement, not dread, not fear. It's like it's just some routine thing we do all the time (how pathetic, right?). It's that second beta that makes me freak out, and that's like 3 weeks away. I think this will really be it for us, one way or another. We really want a second baby but at some point we have to say enough is enough with the fertility treatment rollercoaster. Our wallet is already crying "uncle," since we've spent almost $40,000 trying for this second baby. Not that she isn't worth that and more if things work out, but you know what I'm saying.

@Midwest- thank you!! That is so exciting, please update us. :) It is amazing how many sacrifices we make for our children. I am feeling fine, a lot of fatigue is my biggest thing. Ever since I passed the 8 week mark I've been exhausted, feels flu like almost. But no sickness, so I'm grateful for that. I am 11 weeks today. One more week until I can tell my parents! yay! I heard baby's heartbeat on the doppler on Tuesday, so that was pretty cool. My next u/s is 9/29, which is hubby's bday. We are telling his mom that day too

@Raina - good for you, enjoy the time off

@Twein - how are you?

@JGL- how are you feeling? how's it going?

Hey, ladies,

Just popping in to update. Seems like our board has gotten pretty quiet, probably because so many got their BFPs and left for the pregnancy forums... FET was today and seems to have gone fine. Our embryo had already hatched; they gave us a picture of her and her "eggshell." I wonder if that means implantation is likely to happen sooner. 9 days until beta but I'll probably start POAS in 5.

Charlotte - I hope your energy bounces back soon. I had the same experience, from about week 8 through week 12 just felt like going to work was climbing Mt. Everest. Are you planning anything clever to break the news to your families or just going to tell them?

Raina - I'll be rooting for you in November. I totally understand about needing a break. Also, I wanted to recommend a series called "Circle + Bloom" that I've found pretty helpful. If you Google it, you'll see they have lots of different series of relaxation exercises; I've been using the FET one.

They're going well, thank you! Still no bump or kicking yet, but every so often on a slow night I sneak into the equipment room and put a U/S probe on my belly in secret... which is always amazing. :) I'm not quite halfway but already becoming pretty impatient to meet this little dude. (It's a boy!) :)

I can relate to how you must be feeling though... literally every single girl in my original TTC thread conceived her baby and gave birth to it before I ever got my BFP. Hang in there. We're all rooting for you still!

Very excited for your POAS-fest soon!

My dh and I did decide to try on own this mouth and I'm 10dpo. I have a few symptomsi had cramping last week and now sore boobs, I'm tired, crazy dreams, and night sweats but it could all be period symptoms. I can't remember the last time I had a period with out being on meds. I'm ok either way bc I'm excited to work with the new re.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Well, I was hoping to have good news to report, but it looks like a BFN. No hint of a line and today is 9dp5dt. Beta is today. It's going to take a while to figure out what to do with this. We really wanted a second child but now after 3 fails we probably need to make a new life plan. Thanks, everybody, for still following and for the good wishes last week. I wish you all the absolute best and will watch for any updates!
