Yay Herman!! that is great news!!! Really happy for you! Wonder how many are in there?

Ready for #2 - glad everything is going well for you :)

AFM - I have my 12-week scan on Friday, although had an unofficial scan with my sister in law last Thursday as had some bleeding (with clots) and freaked out! Everything was fine though, it was a small subchorionic heamatoma which are quite common apparently. Bubs was doing somersaults while we were watching which was super cute. In other news, we have also just bought 8 acres in the country, about 1/2 hr outside of the city we live in... am hoping we can get a house on it before the baby comes but it might be a bit of a big ask. Am very excited to be able to have a dog and some chickens and lots of space for my little boy to run around in.

@issacsmum: can't believe you are already starting your 2nd trimester! House is in the country is awesome. You have 6 months, might happen. As far as chickens. I highly recommend Australorpes, shiny, irradecent black and lay brown eggs. They are super friendly and they don't fly high so you don't need to worry about them flying over tall fences. We gave ours to our daughters school when we moved to DC, and we Miss them so much! Cheers!

@zerb: you may want to join the Oct/Nov Grp that just started. It was started by one of the people on the August/ sept thread I was part of that had a failed fresh cycle. She is doing FET and there's at least one other doing one too. You'd be in great company! Good luck and thanks for the well wishes.

Just checking in to see how you ladies are progressing through your pregnancies. I'm curious to hear how things are going as most of you are well into your 2nd trimesters.

Mini- how's the triplets? Did you have to do selective reduction?

Revy- how's the twins?

Mrs Hope, Ready, Issacsmum, IVF2- how are your pregnancies going? Have you started taking birthing classes or planning your births?

AFM- I'm doing ok. Nausea and headaches are a daily occurrence, sleeping is interrupted, and my appetite fluctuates a lot. I have my 2nd U/S on Saturday and hopefully I'll transition to vaginal progesterone as well as I am fed up with the oil injections. We are planning to have another home birth so I'll start writing my birth plan in a while. I'm also looking at taking hypnobirthing classes. My husband and I did the Bradley Method and it worked well but with my very long labor last time (46+hrs), some better relaxation and self hypnosis would have helped.

I hope you are well and enjoying journey. I hope to hear back from you!

Well it is good to hear some action on here. With my last pregnancy I really didn't have a chance to do any prep for delivery and labor. I was on bedrest from week 24-wk 36.

Today I had my 13 wk check up and everything went great. My baby had a heartrate of 156 and is measuring normal. Currently I have a low placenta , but my doctor is not worried because it is way too early in the pregnancy. I would love to get an update from everyone else

Hi Ready. Can't believe it's been 13 weeks already..crazy how fast it goes. Of course the 2ww couldn't go fast like that, right?

Just had my 8wk scan and I'm being released to my OB. Im in the military, not sure I mentioned that before, so I have an Appt at the end of the month to get a referral to an OB. I was procrastinating, and I got stuck with a later than desired appt.

So I'm doing ok. Baby is growing and I'm as nauseous as ever. I basically plan my meals, especially in the evening on what I won't mind throwing up an hour later. TMI?

Would also love to hear from some of the others in the group if you're still online. Hope you are all well.

Hey ladies
Sorry, haven't checked this for ages! Great to hear that all is going well!! I am currently 21 weeks... feeling really good, which is a blessing. We just had our 20 week scan and baby is measuring perfectly so it's all going well! Oh, and we are adding a little girl to the family... she has already been named Eve.
I don't think I'm going to do antenatal classes this time around. I can still remember most of it and anyway, it doesn't always go to plan as I found with my last experience - 71-hour labour (baby's very large head was to blame) which ended in an an emergency c-section and a baby in distress who I never even go to hold as he wasn't breathing.
Herman, I also did hypno-birthing and was totally going to breathe the baby out but that all went out the window by day 3! Am really hoping this time around, I will be able to have a natural birth and give it a second go as I love the idea of it!
