new and new to ivf...please read!

Hey everyone!

I'm new to this site and have never posted on a forum before but I'm in need of some help :/

Long story short hubs and I have been ttc for almost 4 years. I'm 10dpt with my first ivf cycle. I POAS day 7-10 and got nothing but BFN with first response early results. I haven't had any bleeding at all, but I do have nausea, cramping, fatigue, and blue veins on my breast. I have other symptoms too but I know they can be caused from the progesterone and estrogen I'm taking. I go for my OTD on wednesday, in 3 days...is there a chance that I could still be pregnant when they do my beta?

We were given a 50% success rate. I have DOR and hubs has low count and quality. I stimmed for 10 days, they retrieved 9 eggs, 7 fertilized, only 1 made it to my transfer (5dt) and it was an early blastocyst.

I appreciate any words of wosdom and encouragement or stories if you know of people testing negative after 10dpt but having a positive beta

Hi there. It's still possible, but 10p5dt you should be seeing something. I know how difficult this is. I have been through 3 fresh cycles and it was the third cycle where I finally got my bfp. Good luck. Fx for you.

That's what I'm afraid of :/ I've read a lot of people who tested negative up to the morning of the beta but at the same time I know that's the exception...not the norm. It was an early blastocyst so maybe they take a little longer to implant??

Congratulations on your bfp!! That's so awesome :D

Sorry asellner :-( I started testing positive 9dp3dt. Light, but it was there.

It ended up being a chemical so I'm going back for round two. Wishing you the best!

Hi!

I am new to the site as well. I did my first IVF cycle this month. I got a BFN on the beta today. I was hoping against all odds that I was pregnant. I am not sure when I will do the next cycle, probably November.
Me-45 (just old)
DH-27 (low count, great morph motility)

9/14/2015 Egg retrieval (2 mature eggs)

I'm new also. I started stims Sunday night for my first IVF. My egg retrieval is scheduled for next week and the transfer will be 5 days after that. I'm trying very hard not to get my hopes up. I know that getting pregnant on your first IVF cycle is not the norm.
