Help! POAS question

Postby Bg99 » Tue Nov 03, 2015 7:45 pm

Just had my ET this morning and now I'm wishing I POAS before it to test if trigger is out of my system! Because I'm positive won't be able to resist POAS way before beta. This girl does not have self-control like that! So should I still POAS asap or is too late to bother at this point? WWYD?

Congrats on your ET! You can definitely POAS and have 2 options. Assuming you aren't taking any additional HCG, you can POAS now and test until the trigger is completely out of your system (although it might be already). Alternatively, you can wait until 4 or 5 days post transfer and watch the line get darker over the days. However, if you want to be 100% sure that its not the trigger, you could test until there is no line on the stick and then wait to see a new line or if there is an overlap of the trigger and pregnancy HCG, until the line gets darker. Good Luck!!

@Suzy - Thanks for the reply! I like the idea of testing right away and watch the trigger line get lighter, rather than waiting and seeing if the line gets darker because of a BFP. I tested tonight and got a super light line. I'll Test once more in the morning and hope it's completely gone. Thanks again for your advice, super helpful and glad to know its not too late to start!

Yay! My test was stark white this morning! Now to try to hold off for a few days before testing for the BFP!
