Singleton or twins? What do you think?

Postby Bg99 » Fri Nov 20, 2015 11:12 am

I'm going insane! Ultrasound is Monday and I might crack before then. Looking online, one minute I'm convinced there is only one bean, the next that there's two. At the end of he day, the consensus is that only the u/s is the only way to know for sure and I know beta numbers don't always mean anything....but y'all! I can't get this off my brain and have turned into a crazy lady! Ack!

Two pretty nice looking embies transferred 11/3
Beta #1 13dp5dt - 2221 Progesterone <60
Beta #2 15dp5dt - 3887

Weird it didn't double and at first I was nervous but then I've read that numbers greater than 1000 can take up to 92 hrs to double

I would vote twins too but try and stay prepared to see just one as best as possible. I also drove myself crazy going back and forth between it being one or two and really had no idea - I have seen some insanely high singleton betas and lower twin betas. It's anyone's guess! They do slow down after 1200 and I think the first beta was high enough to hope it's twins for sure!

True, true. Good advice. Thanks @kiwi. Remind me, you are having twins, right? I'm on my phone so signatures aren't showing up.
