Mama- don't give up hope yet!! Hoping you get good news

Crick- congrats on the bfp! Hope the beta goes well.

As for me, 9 out of the 16 made it so we have 9 embryos as far as I know. Haven't gotten an update after the day after retrieval so I'm not sure how the little embryos are growing. Pgs testing is set for Tuesday and transfer is Wednesday!

@mama - so sorry for your BFN :( Hoping your next cycle might be the ONE?!?

@tjdav - i have never done PIO shots, but my nurse said that she definitely had to talk to me on the phone for that one, that it's really important, so she kind of made it a big deal! not looking forward to it, since i totally don't like IM shots - but hey, let me know how you do!

@crick - OMGGG! keep us posted - hopefully it's a BFP!!!!

Status for me - just doing the estradiol vaginally twice a day, 1 mg each. keeps my nausea down and i'm feeling decent! have progesterone and ultrasound scan on thursday, then nurse will let me start PIO and they'll have a transfer day for me!

Hi ladies,

Thank you so much for the kind and encouraging words, it really means a lot and I don't even know you!

AF arrived last night, I was expecting it with the BFN's so no surprises. I've not really acknowledged feelings yet as work has kept me very busy out here. I fly home tonight and can't wait to be back with my LO and DH.

This is it for my IVF journey, it will take me some time to accept that but we made a conscious decision that this would be our last try (We pay everything out of pocket) So its time now to take a break and put life back into perspective.

Crick - did your line progress? I'd be so happy for another win on here against the evil IF! Fingers crossed for you.

Bunny - 9 is a great number, congratulations and good luck with Transfer tomorrow.

Hi everyone else and best wishes to you all on your journey. Hoping you all get your BFP's soon :babydustb: :babydustg:

It's a bfp! Hard to believe after miscarring twins and failing 5 fet's in a row. I'm cautious to celebrate until I see one or two heartbeats. My beta was 743. Hope it sticks! I don't go back for a second beta until Monday. Ugh, sugh a long wait! Thanks for the encouragement nboots and mama!

Congrats again, Crick!!!!!

Update: transfer day today. Bad news is, only 2 eggs made it :( we did genetic testing and 4/6 eggs that made it to day 5 were deemed abnormal. I'm pretty bummed out because after getting 16 eggs, I thought we would at least have 2-4 eggs to freeze. Oh well. Good news is, we transferred both embryos... An AA and a BA grade. In bed praying these little beans stick!!

@bunny - congrats on your transfer! Was it just like an IUI? did you take the day off? so sorry to hear that they were abnormal - but honestly, i'm kind regretting that we didn't do the genetic testing. i have 9 on freeze, but they might not be all normal, and i hope none of them end up in a miscarriage! anyway, wishing you the best of luck and hoping for a BFP (or two!)

Nboots- we have a pretty "good" male factor so we didn't even try an IUI so I can't really compare. It's like an annual pap, but it hurts a little when they are cleaning the area with cotton. I have to say, we have some BB and BA embies that are sadly abnormal so we are so glad we did the testing. We are still relatively young and healthy... I had no idea so many would be abnormal. It's kind of sad :(

When you ladies did your transfer, did you experience some pretty bad cramps?? It's been about 6 hours and I'm feeling some mild to someone strong cramps... Is this normal?

@bunny-those are great embryo grades! I didn't have cramping early on, but I have read that it could be a sign of implantation. Best wishes, keep us posted!

How is everyone's cycle coming along?

I am 4dp6dt and wiped the tiniest bit of brownish cm... Could it be implantation spotting!?! I will test Wednesday... We have no frozens and can't afford another fresh round this year... Please Lord, let this work!!!!

Going for my second beta tomorrow. Fingers and toes crossed that numbers are rising appropriately and heartbeat or heartbeats are getting stronger. Still in disbelief that my first beta was positive! Won't celebrate till I see cardiac activity on the US.

An update:more good news today! Second beta (24 dpo: 8,472). Right in line for twins. Still in disbelief and waiting until the US (in two weeks, ugh!) to celebrate. Want to see some heartbeats!

I write this because I don't want anyone to give up hope. After having my son 3 years ago. We've suffered a twin miscarriage, a D&C, a cancelled cycle, two IVF cycles and four frozen transfers with a hysteroscopy in there somewhere before having this positive turnaround. I started to loose hope, but with God, family, yoga and accupuncture I found focus and hope. Certainly, the pain that we go through will never compair to the joy of babies. Never give up hope friends!

Crick- congrats on your amazing beta numbers! I thought usually with twins, the positive shows up on tests earlier? Tomorrow is 7dp6dt for me and I will test... But I guess even if it if negative, I may still have a chance.

Thanks for sharing your story. I didn't realize you went through so much! I'm sooooooooooo happy for you and your great results now. Praying for sticky bean(s) and excited for you for your ultrasound!!! I've never had a BFP at all before... I think I'd totally cry tears of joy when I hear the baby's heart beat.
