Looking for success stories with Balanced Translocation

Postby Cegomes1129 » Thu Mar 24, 2016 12:37 pm

Has anyone with a robertsonian balanced translocation had success with IVF? I have completed 4 IVF cycles without success, actually never had an embryo even make it to blast. We didn't find out about the translocation until after the 3rd attempt when additional testing was done. I respond very well to the medication, but the embryos start to arrest after day 2 or 3.

Really just looking for a positive story of anyone with a similar issue to give me a little hope!

Hi, I am sorry you had no successful cycles. I have no direct experiences, but my friends underwent ivf at Invicta clinics that offer pgs ngs for balanced translocations. Hope it helps. Good luck
