Shannon - fingers crossed so hard for you! I can't wait to hear how everything goes.
No maternity leave for me yet. Maternity leave in the us SUCKS. I'm a department head in a school so I'm off for summer, I have to go back in September and will work until a day before my due date (10/7) - assuming I don't go early. Baby boy does have a name, Nicholas Charles. Nicholas is dh's grandpas name (who he was super close with) and Charles is my father and grandfathers name. When I was pregnant with dd we picked the name out for a boy so there were really no discussions once we found out this one is a boy. What about you Emma?

Shannon good luck to you!!!!I hope and pray your lining gets nice and thick.
Furbaby it does suck,in Romania you get two years maternity leave and you get payed 80% from your salary .
Emma congratulations on the move!!Ready to have the baby?!Will you be having a natural birth?!I totally wouldn't advise you to that:))I had an epi when I delivered my boys,I didn't labour for a long time but I still felt the pains, the worst part was that placentas.I hope I'm not scaring anyone Im just a wuss regarding pain.

Hi ladies, hope everyone had a great weekend!
All 12 eggs thawed successfully and were injected using ICSI yesterday. I'll know today how many fertilized. The embryologist said they will check them once again tomorrow on day 2 then will leave them alone and won't check them again until day 5 on Friday. We'll transfer the best looking one, and hopefully will have at least one to freeze for a sibling
I'll let you know once I hear back today on how many fertilized.

Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing well.
Day 2 report:
All 11 embryos have divided to 2-6 cells which is expected at day 2. They grade them from 1-5, with grades 1-2 expected to be most likely to reach blastocyst stage, although they have seen some grade 3 embryos make it. We have three at grade 1, four at grade 2 and four grade 3....
Yikes! She said they will take pictures on Friday of all that make it to day 5 and pick the best of the bunch to transfer. No more updates until Friday.
I have a really good feeling about all this. This process with the new RE has gone so smoothly and it all feels like this was meant to be for us. I feel like these are the babies we were meant to have. It was always such an uphill battle and everything going against us with the other RE, nothing ever seemed to go right. It's so nice to have things going our way lol.
