Hi everyone.. sorry for MIA. The site has been giving me logging troubles since last few days.

Beth: Welcome to the group here. Glad you are opening up more to the idea of science helping you.

Mglupe: Awesome news on embryos! Bummer for no fresh transfer. But hey, you will have a healthier body for FET! Cheers..

Rosy: Congratulations! Hugs.. Awesome news on beta and positive test. More pee sticks please.

Johnnyswifey: I hope your acupuncture sessions are treating you well.

Panda: Waiting for an update of your scan. Exiting times. You and Rosy will have similar delivery dates. Fxing everything for both of you for healthy and uneventful pregnancy.

Danaa: Hoping you are doing well girlie!

AFM, nothing major. Still on contaceptive pills, and coasting period. Hopefully, i will have FET done in next cycle for me. Till then, work it is. Keeping me super busy. And i am def not complaining.

Hello ladies,
I could use a pep talk! The nurse from my clinic just called to confirm our appointment for our orientation.
She explained the protocol having been selected based on "not expecting to get too many eggs" - and described it as being "aggressive to get as many follicles as possible" - she did call it a mini stimulation which I was confused about - mini doesn't sound aggressive to me!
I actually haven't had a chance to discuss the protocol with my fertility doctor so I feel in the dark.... I've sent her an email and hopefully she will get back to me.
I had a bunch of testing done at another clinic earlier this year, and my AMH was 10 (normal is >16) and my AFC was 16-20 (tested in two separate cycles - on days 3 - 5). I'm confused because now at this new clinic she did an ultrasound mid cycle and said my AFC was 4. I guess I'm confused as to why the numbers are differing so much. Maybe my ovaries are quickly dying.fer
Anyways, the nurse said I would do 2 weeks of Marvelon and then 6 days after stopping the OCP I would start stims.
I started to read online about different protocols and there is so much conflicting information, I feel so lost.

Rosy, congrats!!! Those are awesome beta numbers, I'm so excited for you. I really hope we can be pregnancy buds :D

Nicky, thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. Stay busy girl, I know that it seems like time is crawling but it'll be time for your FET before you know it. Looking forward to it.

Beth, I wish I could help but I have no idea what a mini IVF is. It does seem contradictory that they are going to put you on an "aggressive" protocol but then they use the mini IVF terminology. I find the protocols very confusing too. I hope you get to talk to your doctor soon so you can get some clarity and I hope they make you feel comfortable enough to trust their expertise. That's what it comes down to in the end. I've had a hard time with this myself!

MG - I'm watching the Hurricane Irma news and hoping everything is okay with you and your little embies. Stay safe, you're in my thoughts!

AFM, same same. Apparently still pregnant but zero symptoms. I'm trying hard not to lose my mind but I'm super stressed and worried that this is not the real thing. Ugh.

Hey Everyone,

Did my 2nd beta this morning - we are at 708! They were hoping my numbers would double, but we got a triple! They gave me a due date of May 12th, 2018.

Progesterone is measuring 56.2 (they like to see at least 25), so we know that my body is happily absorbing the progesterone. I get to stop the IM injections and Estrogen patches on Nov. 3rd. Looking forward to that.

Ultrasound is set for 9/18/17. My RE asked me to wait two days more so she could do it herself (she loves me!). I'll be 6 weeks, 2 days that day.

Panda - I hope so too! When is your ultrasound? No worries with not feeling any symptoms. I'm mostly the same. The only thing I am is tired. I don't have any morning sickness, my breasts are slightly tender when I take my bra off or get squeezed in a hug too hard, and food is completely uninteresting. Honestly, I felt like I was about to start my period (impossible on progesterone - I know) at any moment two days ago. I was even having cramps, but evidently that was the babe sticking her little sugar tentacles deeper into my lining.

Beth - PGS (genetic testing) is awesome. We had it done and it saved us from heartache. Our best looking egg (a 4 BB) was Trisomy 17, which would have resulted in a miscarriage or a very very mentally/physically disabled child. The embryo I'm pregnant with now was our 5day 3BB blast and is euploid. It eases our hearts to know that it's a perfect egg, with little to no chance of chromosomal abnormalities. As for the mini-ivf, I've no idea what they're doing. That sounds like the complete opposite of an aggressive cycle. I'm sure your RE will clear thing up for you when you talk to her.

Nickysy - Thanks! I took one last night (just to see if it was darker) and I finally got a line that was as dark as the control. I'm kind of a pee-on-a-stick-a-holic ::cringe:: so I have two tests from each day from 3dp5dt to 9dp5dt. The ones on 3dp5dt are SO light that the camera can't pick them up, but they steadily got darker and darker. I did FMU and then 12 hours later a 3 hour hold. So, if you really want to see my personal ones, I can post a pic of the gradation. Also, check out countdowntopregnancy com - their site is awesome for pregnancy tests and statistics.

Danaa - Thanks! ::hugs::

Panda :fingersx: keeping everything crossed for you - stick baby, stick! And you're completely right. I am a closeted control freak and I am having a hard time letting go.

Rosy that's an excellent beta and those hpts ugghhhhh so beautiful!!! when I get a bfp I'm going to keep POAS until there are none left, I promise you that! Thanks for the info on PGS - we'll discuss it. I laughed pretty hard at "sugary tentacles" hahaha, that' such a good description. I can see why your doc likes you so much, you're hilarious.

MG stay safe. I'll be following hurricane Irma closely. We're all rooting for you and those precious embryos

AFM I am feeling much calmer today, my anxiety gets the better of me sometime. I'm excited to get going!!

Panda good to hear ur still pregnant and doing well .
Rosy looking forward to hear about ur scan.
Mglupe stay safe!!!I hope Irma won't affect your embryos.
I don't remember who but someone asked about the mini Ivf or something like that, for a woman with low amh doctors try a protocol to allow them get the best eggs,is all about the quality and not quantity, from your 4 follies you can easily get 3good embryos.
As for me not much going on just waiting and waiting,.

MG - how are you doing???? Keeping an eye on the news. Sending positive vibes your way.

Dana - that was me! Thanks for your input:) I actually spoke to my doctor today and she is suggesting that we try a cycle of full stims. She accidentally checked mini stim on the protocol. We will see how it goes.

How is everyone doing??

Thanks for the positive vibes everyone, keep em coming. I went for my 3rd beta today, hoping they don't make me wait until tomorrow to get the results.

Dana, October is around the corner, are you still on track for an October FET?

MG, I hope you're okay, the hurricane news is so scary, I can't imagine living through this thing. My thoughts are with you, I hope we hear from you soon.

Beth, so glad you got to talk to the doctor. I'm glad the mini ivf thing was just a screw up and that they'll have you doing a full cycle. I'm excited for you to start.

Rosy, my ultrasound is on Sept 12. That wondfos pic is a thing of beauty, btw :)

Hello! Just had our IVF orientation! Two weeks Marvelon once AF starts. Then we're starting on max stims: Puregon 225 twice a day with Micro Lupron twice a day and growth hormone at night for the first 10 days. I am hoping the Puregon dose will be decreased part way through if I respond well...

How is everyone else doing???
