Hi girls! Just got home from my first follow up. About 10 follies, measuring between 11mm-15mm today (cd9). The RE was very happy and confident that more than 10 eggs could be retreived. I start 2nd round of stims today and see him again on Monday morning.

One more thing. My lining is already 11 mm at cd9 so he has asked me to stop taking estrogen. Anyone knows if it's a good or bad thing? If it grew further, will that mean I cannot have fresh transfer?

Enough from me.. How are things with you? Tess, when is your official blood test date?

Hope, that’s exciting about your follies! I personally haven’t run into that issue with my lining being “too thick,” but it probably means your body is doing it pretty well on its own and doesn’t need the extra estrogen. I couldn’t do a fresh cycle when I had my retrieval bc my progesterone was high. Which bummed me out at first but then I read how frozen transfers are the preferred method in many cases bc it allows your body to calm down and be more receptive for transfer and implantation.

No real news from me except I just felt so tired yesterday. But that could also be bc I only had tea instead of coffee yesterday. :/ I’m scheduled to test on 2/6 but I might do a hpt next week. I did that last time and got a positive so... I had a good experience with it. But if I tested and it was neg... that would be pretty hard to deal with and make me more anxious. :/ we’ll see.

Gem, any news from you?

Tess, I am praying for your bfp. Pleasr do let us know when you poas ☺I love seeing bpf sticks

And, you are right about lining. I never really had lining issues in my natural cycles so maybe that's why he asked me to stop estrogen. I guess I will be quite bummed if we don't get to try fresh transfer.

Thank you for your prayers!! I’ve continued to feel tired And even more “down”. I don’t know if it’s bc of lack of coffee extra hormones or both. :/.

Hope, that’s difficult with your in-laws! I thought I had it bad with mine living close by. Hope you’re able to find a good excuse. I told my work I had a “medical procedure.” They kept asking for more specifics but I kept saying I’ll tell them later. It’s none of their business, so they can think what they want. ;)

Tess, lets hope that your tiredness is a pregnancy symptom.

You got the right attitude! Now I am also thinking I should fake a medical procedure / condition as an excuse while mil is here. She's quite nosey

I see it too... there's clearly a line. Wow! Fx that it gets darker soon. Cautiously excited for you.

Afm,had my final US. 16 follies :D largest ones around 17mm. I trigger tomorrow tonight and retrieval is scheduled for Thursday morning.

Hope, that’s exciting! Hoping and praying it goes well! Have you figured out how to not tell your mil? Is your plan to do a fresh transfer?

I tested again this morning... it’s maybe slightly darker faint line. Trying to stay hopeful and not get my hopes up. I’ll probably test again tomorrow morning.

Hey Ladies! So sorry I was away for the (long) weekend for a wedding (the great Indian wedding), so switched off from all the baby stuff :)

Great news Tess!!! Post the pic :) praying for a sticky bean!
Rosey, awesome news about the follies! Good luck for the trigger and retrieval :) will wait for the good news.

About me: chilling before the FET this month. AF arrived, so started medication today (Progynova thrice a day and ecosprin). DH and I are planning to take another short vacation 2 weekends later ( combined with a work trip so can’t change dates) but that would be day 14 of my cycle which is my first ultrasound before the FET. Not sure what will happen after that (they do need to culture the embies for 2 days). Will have to talk to my doc if this will interfere with FET dates or not (hopefully)..

Tested again tonight with a first response test. Feeling more hopeful!

Gem, that’s exciting FET’s are so much easier than the retrieval. Hope you enjoy some time away with your hubby. :)

Hope, 16 follies is a lot and I think as I recall they usually collect more than you think bc they can’t see all the follies on ultrasound. Praying it all goes well!

Tess! That's definitely a bfp.. So happy for you. Can you request your clinic to do an early beta? If I correctly remember yours is scheduled in Feb? Cannot wait to hear your numbers.

And yeah RE plans to do a fresh transfer this cycle. My lining looked good and I don't seem to have any ohss symptoms. But I yet have to take the trigger tonight and that could change the situation.

Gem, Indian weddings are awesome. Glad that you had a great ttc-free weekend. Do you mind me asking if you are in India?

If you are not gone for too long, I think there shouldn't be a problem. I have no experience in this area so just wondering when do they do a transfer. Do you know your probable transfer cycle day? My retreival is on cd15 and the RE plans to do fresh transfer next Tuesday (cd20) if all goes well.

Hi ladies!
I am joining in after being in the November-December group. My fresh transfer was cancelled after I came down with OHSS (well, it was hard NOT to see, lol). On the bright side, I got to drink bubbly wine on New Years and now I am gearing up for a FET.

I am now on CD4 of the transfer cycle. Prepped with Luperon (last cycle), and now with baby aspirin and estrogen patches. My u/s will be on Feb 11th to see if my lining is ready for a transfer.

Glad to come into a thread with good news already! Congrats Tess!
Rosey, I hear you, the journey can be really hard sometimes. I am finding it hard to adjust at work these days... I am really impatient and tired (thanks to the lack of caffeine, lol!) and my body hurts.

Gem, it sounds like we will be doing our FET's only a few days apart.

I hope everything goes well for all of you!
