Hey! I voted for a 5 day transfer because that is what seemed to work for me. Honestly, I think if the cycle is meant to work, it will work, regardless of whether you have a 3 or 5 day. But I will say I did feel better knowing I was putting in blasts because I knew at that point they were strong and had a good chance of making it. My first IVF failed with a 3 day transfer, but then they tweaked my protocol, I had better fertilization the next time around, and it worked. I think this cycle could have been a 3 day and still worked. And clearly on here we've seen anything from a 2 day to a 6 day work!

This was my first round of IVF and we did a 5 day transfer. My first beta was 9dp5dt = 66.2, now at 14dp5dt it's 1373! I have my first U/S to see how many are there. We only transferred two embies.

I did a 5 day transfer of two high quality blasts and one stuck. I just want to give you girls hope. This was my third cycle. The first one the Dr. told me I probably have poor egg quality. Well I perservered and went to three different RE's, did acupuncture, ate organic, did yoga etc. etc. I say don't give up on your dream,,,it may just be a longer path for some of us. This third cycle we ended up with 5 great blasts. I know I still have a long way to go but I never even thought I would be this far and we have seen the heartbeat twice.

I transferred four embryos (3 8-celled grade A, and 1 6-celled grade B) on day 3. At 6dp3dt I had a very clear BFN. At 7dp3dt I had a super faint evap-looking line which got stronger each day. My first beta (12dp3dt) came in at 187! Good luck everyone!!!!

-Carrie 34, TTC#2 (4 failed IUIs on injectibles this year - 1st IVF ER 11/27, 3dt 11/30, BFP! Beta was 187 on 12/12, which was 12dp3dt!)
- DH 34
- DS 2yo (3rd IUI was the charm that time around)
