cysts

I'm having really bad cyst like pain on the side that I ovulated from and I'm 7 dpo. I haven't had cyst/ovulation pain like this in between ovulation and AF, what are likely causes of this?
I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks with DD because I was bleeding a lot more than normal and in a lot of pain and it showed a large corpus luteum cyst.
Could this be the same thing? Or is it possible to have a CLC when you're not pregnant? Could I just have a cyst at this time of the month for no reason? I'm just not as familiar with cysts as some of you ladies are so thought I'd ask for some input

I kinda wondered the same...I've had a couple cysts before and it usually causes me pain like a day before AF arrives. This month the same 'type' of pains started at 6dpo (possibly 7). I wondered if a cyst could cause pain at that time because I've heard of it happening around O time or AF time but not right in between...

I'm still waiting to see if I get a BFP this month...So far I've gotten BFN's but CP (although unreliable) is looking good. I am 11dpo (possibly 12) & AF is due Sunday. I haven't had many other symptoms this month other than my CP being high/soft and the horrible aching/pains that even tylenol wouldn't cut (They finally went away today)! Tonight I was sick to my stomach...
