Is this a positive?!?!

Postby Baby#4 » Fri May 04, 2018 4:47 pm

I have a 13 month old son I am currently still breastfeeding. I haven’t gotten my period back yet, but have felt off for a few days. My breasts hurt, I’m dizzy, and have an increase in clear discharge. The only possible intercourse this could be from was only 6 days ago!! It seems super early, but I decided to test and got what seems to be a faint. Does this look positive?! Is it possible to get a positive so early?

Is that out of the case? If it is it is hard to say yes or no, because it is invalid.

This one is out of the case. I saw a line on the test within three minutes and then took it out of the case to see if it actually had color.

Well if you have not had sex in the last 3 weeks or so besides the one 6days ago I highly doubt this pregnancy test shows a bfp.
I do see something in the pictures but being a blue dye test I cannot say anything, test with a pink dye.good luck!

Why would it not result in a positive? I have tested faint positive 6 dpo with my other three kids.

I’m not saying it won’t result in a pregnancy,I’m simply saying that at 6 dpo you haven’t even implanted yet.
From what we know implantation can happen 6-12dpo and then you need like 2-3 days for the hcg to get in your urine .
I have no idea how you Tested positive at 6dpo with your other pregnancies,my first time hearing this but hey who I’m i?anything is possible.

I really don't understand women who post asking for opinions then can't take the opinions given if they don't match their own idea of what's going on.

Unless the days are off it's pretty much impossible to implant earlier than 6 days

Lol. No one is getting angry at anyone for answering. I have had 3 children. All of them I got my first faint positive on 6dpo. Glad you are such a genius and know it all. Thanks

Haha would you rather ask a question and get an answer from people who doesn't know?! Thought that would be the ideal answer coming from a genius and thank you for the compliment I am pretty clever actually :) but for real there is literally zero point in being rude. I was simply expressing an opinion based on the reaction that dana got for saying that you can't test positive before implanting which wouldn't happen before 6 days. this is a support forum, and if you can't be supportive or polite probably best you post your questions elsewhere. Some women on here have been trying for years, suffered losses yet still come on here to offer support. To then be told that you have had 3 children and know what you're talking about kind of defeats the whole object of asking. Not going to get into an argument I have better things to do but seriously have a bit of respect for people

That looks vfBFP to me. Maybe test with a FRER though. Blue dye can be tricky!

I have had nine babies and multiple losses (six that I know for sure). I have known as early as 6dpo that I'm pregnant. I've implanted as early as 4dpo. I have also always taken the first test or two out of the case. A faint positive has always been a positive (granted, I've never used blue dye so no experience there). Taking it out of the case has never changed results for me. I've been doing this for 21 years. I think your positive is a positive.

I don't think anyone has taken the same amount of tests as a woman trying and failing to conceive naturally. It is not something you would wish on your worst enemy, and the torture that they endure every month and the hundreds of tests taken and analysed- I think regardless of years ttc- it depends on the specific situation.

Re implantation, as someone who has gone through ivf I had a in depth discussion on this with my Dr. An embroyl cannot implant until it is a blastocyst. It won't be a blastocyst until 5dpo. That's why they transfer them at 5days with ivf. So it is virtually impossible to implant before then.

Taking a test out of the case can most definitely give evaps, seen it,experienced it.
I think I took a 100+ tests in 5years of trying.
I have seen it all!!
As for the implantation sooner than 6dpo I won’t believe it until there will be a study showing this!!

Same here- I don't even want to know the amoint of tests I went through lol!

I'm also guessing the original poster didn't have a positive as there have been no updates
