From what I've been told, it can help you lose weight which can increase your fertility but you cannot TTC while on it. Phentermine (Adipex) is dangerous to a fetus.
Me: 29 DH:30
TTC since 2005/ Dx with PCOS 2008
2008-2011: D&C, HSG=B/L tube blockage, Lap endo removal with tubal clearing, numerous Clomid & Femara cycles, TI and IUIx4, multiple BFN's, 2 BFP's=2 m/c and still no baby... lost 90lbs, now getting back to TTC!

Diet pills are bad for babies .. but I was recently prescribed metformin, to help me concieve due to my pcos. Ether way metformin may the exception because it works with your insulin and all this fancy stuff that helps with ttc and weight loss. Good luck

Hello, I want to share my experience in struggling with weight loss. I read and search much time about how to lose weight. I tried many medications and diet pills. In my researches, I found out women who are significantly overweight or underweight throw off their hormone balances, which in turn has a serious impact on fertility. I want to be a mother, so I do my best to lose my overweight. I tried the diet pills. Then I went a diet doctor. He talked about the effect of these pills. The information which draws my attention” Diet pills are manufactured from a variety of substances, any of which could affect your fertility.

Hi, I read your post. For these pills, I don’t like it. One of the most common ingredients in diet pills is caffeine. Because caffeine is linked with miscarriage. “So the doctor advised me to follow a natural diet. Counting calories to be suitable for your weight. I recommended that for you, to avoid the bad effect of diet pills. Thanks.

Most diet pills are based on a derivative of an amphetamine that suppresses appetite. Amphetamines are not supposed to help fertility and probably actually hurt!
