Its FINALLY coming off!!

Postby pregsbeforethirty » Sun Nov 17, 2013 5:45 pm

Well heres a little back story on me.
Me: 29 DH:35
BFP!! December 2008 - Angel baby @ 7 weeks
TTC: 2009

I was ok weight wise and pretty healthy prior to my first pregnancy. Doctor said the miscarriage was unexplained and just sometimes happens. They found nothing that would have caused it. However, since the miscarriage it has been nothing but a struggle. I gained weight, periods are WAY off (like 3-4 a year). Ive been to 3 different doctors, have done blood tests, ultrasound done and my ovaries and all my other lady parts look healthy. The only issue is a high insulin level. This is irrelevant but I had gone to one doctor (who is a specialist in a womens clinic) and she actually told me I would be healthier if I were anorexic!! Needless to say I walked out of there and never looked back. I am overweight and I do need to lose weight but im not a lazy fat @ss! And its just so aggrivating to have doctors not look into anything for you and just tell you to stop eating junk food and start exercising and the weight will fall off! Well, BS! I DONT eat that much junk food and I DONT eat fast food for every meal like they assume. I also work in a factory where I am constantly moving and lifting. Im active! So anyways, Ive just stopped eating after work (I work till 10pm) and its seemed to help quite a bit. Ive lost 15lbs so far but have 27 more pounds to lose before the latest doctor thinks its a healthy weight for me to get pregnant. My first goal was 20lbs gone before Christmas so looks like I will be hitting my goal! My period finally showed up October 29th so hopefully I will be getting another one in a couple weeks. I would like to hear other weight related stories, how you lost the weight, and BFP stories!
Baby Dust to everyone!

Hello! Im new here but just seen ur post. I have always struggled with weight. In 2009 i lost 6 stone with diet pills from a dietician/nutritionist. However the side effects were horrific, terrible mood swings and thirst. I kept it off at the time by controlling my weight gain with using contraceptive pills for my pcos symptoms and just easting less. 3 years on & ive gained the majority of it back. I started slimfast last month and i've lost about a stone. Ttc for 18 months myself. nt everyone who is overweight is lazy or eats terribly. I will continue the slimfast in hope it helps me shift the weight and once i reach a decent weight just introduce better eating as i did before. How r u losing urs?

Really all ive done so far is stopped eating after I get off work. I will drink whatever what I want, just not eat. Since i get off work so late and have a 20 minute drive home i dont get home until about 10:30pm. Ive been going to bed earlier as well. I havnt moved on to changing what I eat yet, I just wanted to get to the point where I wasnt eating after work which I believe I can control it now. Im going to be trying a wheat free diet for a bit. Not so much for the weight loss but because I have tummy issues that may be caused by a wheat/gluten allergy. Ive also started taking pregnitude and a DHA supplement. As for exercise I havnt added anything more since I walk around and am constantly lifting things at work.
