I'm so happy for all of you in your TWW. Don't get discouraged, all these early bfn's don't really mean a lot right now. Keep positive thoughts and hope and pray!
I hope we can all stay on this board! Seems we have a great group of diversified women here.

I've had - opk's so we go back tomorrow, I'm assuming for another ultrasound. Likely to have iui Thursday. We're giving our all as this is our last shot for a while.

Hello Ladies!!

Had my first IUI (Femara, FSH, Ovidrel, Progesterone) on June 19th, so I'm nearing the end of my TWW and starting to go bat isht crazy LOL!!!! On a positive note, everything 'appeared' to go perfectly per my RE, and that week was the most excited, hopeful and positive I've been through this 21 month journey of TCC!! I have unexplained infertility, yeah for me, and Hubs has no sperm issues - he's perfect, isn't that nice, so as many of you know, ridiculously frustrating!! RE told me to test July 6th, but I'm testing this Friday LOL! I figure holding out to 14dpiui is pretty stinking good! 5 rounds of Clomid screwed up my cycle and normal symptoms I had for AF so each month I really thought it worked cause my body changed, and nope, BFN, but this month I'm not really having the Clomid stuff, so that is making me more positive since those 'Clomid Symptoms' always led to BFN....I'm having bouts of nausea, but no vomiting, but I talk myself out of it LOL saying it could just be from my acid reflux and that I'm imaging the symptom....yep see, crazy LOL! Some cramping here and there, but nothing serious. Anyway, just need to type it all out!!! Prayers and baby dust to all this month!!! Praying for my BFP this weekend!!!!

I cant for some reason find the power to stay positive. all this is driving me koo koo and this is my 2nd IUI. I just know that this next one will be my last one. I think I am slowly giving up... I have my app. thursday July 2nd since they are closed frioday the 3rd. has anyone been testing since 10 dpiui? and what have the test showed?

Wow, so many of us on June 19th! How interesting.

I just scanned through the end of the May IUI thread and it looks like those ladies kicked some serious @ss. I think 3 of them ended up with BFPs - and it seems like they were all getting negatives at 8, 9, and even 10 dpIUI. BFPs started kicking in around 10 - 14 dpIUI, so I guess we should all keep hope alive and remain positive (which is so easy to say to everyone else, and so hard to do myself- why is that!?!)!

Hello Ladies!
I had my first IUI today, the final day of June, so that puts me in with these June ladies. :)
Me- 33 I manage my PCOS with healthy diet, gluten free and exercising.
DH -35 MFI and with multivitamins and no coffee/alcohol for DH, his numbers all went up (Except for morphology 1-4%).

We've been TTC for 13 months, but tracking ovulation..etc. since November.
This cycle I had was the most 'normal' at 30 days, so we decided to go forth with IUI. I have 'weak ovluations' and low progesterone, so my Fertility Dr wanted to put me on some medications. I am wary of Clomid, so I took Femara on days 5-10, 5mg a day. (totally made me an insomniac, btw)
I had the biggest follicle I HAVE EVER HAD though! 23mm.
Yesterday we saw it and this morning it was gone, so we went forward with the procedure.
I am suuuch a wuss, and this was WAY EASIER than a pap smear. It was over and done in 10 seconds… no joke. WHAT A BREEZE! DH and I cried afterwards… such an amazing concept that this may actually work and we will finally have a baby! DR gave me an antibiotic Minocycline, and sent me on my way.

Aside from bloating associated with Ovulation, I have no side effects.. well, I keep thinking I am leaking sperm, but apparently I am not, its "mucus" --per my google searches. LOL
I just am zoo excited at this prospect. I hope and pray that we create, and deliver a healthy baby after this! …and for me, the good news is that the procedure was such a breeze, I'd easily do it again.
Now.. onto the dreaded TWW. Except this time, DH is actually into it too! :-D

I'm nervous to exercise during the possible implantation period. Anybody know about that?
I don't want to do ANYTHING to harm our chances this time. Looking forward to making some other TWW friends to share journeys with <3
Thanks for reading, and for words/advice, and **Baby Dust** to you all!!!

Hi mscb18! I try to 'lay low' after my IUIs for a few days, but everything I've read online says if it is part of your normal exercise routine it's fine. I think you have to be more careful with IVF and exercising. For me though- it's all out of pocket so to me the extra jog or Zumba class is not worth the $$$ we've invested.
2013: off BC - not trying, not preventing
2014: tried clomid through OBGYN and got referred to specialist
2015: 1st IUI- femara- BFN
2nd IUI- femara - BFN
3rd IUI- femara- BFN
4th IUI - femara and gonal f - BFN
Took a month off
5th IUI - femara, gonal f, ovidrel, progesterone - BFN
6th IUI - femara, gonal f ( increased) ovidrel, progesterone- BFN
IVF #1 - BFP m/c early ~4.5 weeks
IVF #2 - BFP! Beta #1 - 790!
First ultrasound 6w3d - 1 baby :-) heartbeat 122
Second ultrasound 8w3d on 12/3/15 heartbeat 182
Graduated from fertility doctor!
First OBGYN appt. went well! We have a very active, jumping bean! :-)
Next appt. at 14 weeks.

mscb18....This was my first IUI this past month as well, and I laid low the day of, but my RE told me to go back to regular activities after that, the next day. She said if your body is used to it, NOT doing it affects things negatively. She did say not to over due it, but a regular exercise routine that you've already been on is perfectly fine. But I understand your concern as I was worried too, but that worry isn't good for us either. So yep relax, but take that walk, run, bike ride, or whatever else you usually do - just don't go on a Mud Run LOL! And yes my RE did say also that if this was IVF for us and not IUI, her instructions about exercise would be more constrained. She said 30 mins of exercise a day will actually help the process, so I've been doing the treadmill and the pool...exercise, but definitely not too much stress or pressure on the body....we shall see!!!! I asked her every and any question LOL, after 20 months, this being the 21st month TTC, I just want it to work sooooo badly!!!! AF should arrive this weekend, BUT praying we had success and she stays away :) Prayers and baby dust to us!!!!

So, i know it's July now, but i really want to stay in tis group!
We went in today for a day 14 u/s. My 16mm follicle grew into a 19mm. So, I'm still doing opk's tonight and tomorrow morming. If i get a + we go in for iui tomorrow. If they're both - I go in tomorrow for trigger and iui friday. This month seems to be so much more exhausting than any other month. I'm honestly happy to say this will be it for a while. We'll either walk away with our bfp or we'll walk away with our son being our only child. I'm too old for this. I'm not trying to be pessimistic or negative, just realistic. I pray that it happens, but for us it won't be the end of the world.
Everyone on your TWW keep us updated on your bloodwork results. I'm super excited for all of you! Can't wait to see how many bfp's we get in this group!

Yes, I'd love to keep this group going as well! Really enjoying getting to know you all! And welcome mscb18 & LovelyPink!

Forever - I'm feeling good vibes for you this month! Baby dust, baby dust.

I took an HPT this morning. 12pdIUI. BFN. Losing hope on this cycle. I leave for Napa tomorrow morning. I'll stay sober for the day, retest on Friday morning, and if I get another BFN I'll probably partake in a few glasses at the wedding that evening. I'm so sick of planning my life around the "what ifs" that never come to fruition. So, small consolation - wine country here I come!
