Hi everyone! I actually got a BFP a few days ago- FINALLY! I still can't believe it and am totally in shock. My first beta was 56 (is that good?) and I'm so nervous to go back for the next one to make sure the numbers are doubling correctly. I've been feeling really crampy, like a period is about to come, but it sounds like that might be normal. I'm so nervous about miscarrying- didn't think I'd be this worried!

Tanoushka- holding out hope for you. Have you taken another test?

Holliberger- that's great news! A friend of mine has had that throughout her entire pregnancy and she's about 6 months now and everything's still fine. Very scary though, but I'm glad everything still looks good.

Thanks Alie, but unfortunately, I did find out yesterday that my HCG levels dropped, confirming that I did in fact miscarry again. I'm heading to a fertility specialist on Oct. 1st so I'm looking forward to trying again with new support that will be more aggressive than my current OBGYN. It'll happen for me, hopefully sooner rather than later!

Best of luck to you and your little bean!!

OMG, you guys must be so sick of hearing from me!!! Well, I had my hcg drawn this morning to monitor its decrease and it went UP!!!! My OBGYN thinks I may have had twins and miscarried one! I'm not even telling my husband about this because it's been such a damn roller coaster ride the past week! And, I was in a wedding and danced and drank wine and champagne on Saturday (only 1/2 glass of each but still), took allergy meds on Sat, stopped taking Progesterone (missed 2 doses), and ate like crap (I ate an ENTIRE block of cheese and drank 2 hard ciders on Labor Day). OY VEY!!!!!!!!! So, the drama continues! We'll see what happens this week!

Well, my levels went from 138 to 155 (in 48 hours). No good. Dr. says I'll either miscarry again or it's ectopic. Getting blood drawn again on Monday and we'll see what happens. Why is this so difficult?!??
