Hopeful_lyns-It's so nice to hear from you! I know it's hard coming on these boards when you are trying to think of anything but ttc. I appreciate you thinking of me! It really means a lot! I don't know what I'd do without all of you awesome ladies in my corner! I'm sure DH is not thrilled about that test, it sounds painful! I'm really hopeful for you going into ivf, the odds are much more on your side! I wonder when they'll have you begin the process. I hope you'll still keep us posted on your journey!

Geepeezy- my faint line showed up after an hour of it sitting there so I was really hopeful about it, but after reading up on it I saw something about the residual liquid making it a light gray color. They said if it is the color of the test (pink or blue), then it registered hcg, even if it was sitting out. But who knows! I'm feeling very confident for you and your tests! They are obvious lines, unlike my squinter! Best of luck to you and please keep us posted!

AFM- I sent an email to my nurse telling her I think I'm out and she said that she wouldn't expect me to show positive on a test until the end of the week. I'm confused because so many people get bfps on like 9-10-11DPIUI and I'm here on 13 DPIUI with a bfn. Anyway, I'm going in tomorrow for a beta. I need all your positive thoughts and prayers ladies! I am dwindling on hope here!

Sending big hugs and baby dust! xoxoxo

Not sure what happened but last time I was on here it did not show all the posts so I missed some updates. Sorry if my last post did not make sense for some of you. Molinari it's hard to know when I will be doing the ivf cause the funding only comes into effect sometime in December and the government has not released all the details to the clinic. There will only be some many funded cycles per clinic each year and they put a cut off age of 42 so women close to that will be bumped to the front of the line. I am hoping my appointment on the 23rd will give more info. I will keep you posted

Hi ladies,

Now I don't know what to do - last night I saw a little bit of blood in my underwear - I put a panty protector on and nothing this morning. I tested again, pretty similar to the last few days - but I checked at 3 minutes and then a few minutes later - both times the other line was showing up, but seemed to be darker at about 10 minutes.

I got to work and then there's a little bit of brownish blood on the panty protector, showered and it seems like AF is here? Still just some brownish blood but very light . . . just confused at this point.

Anyway, I'm at 14 dpiui . . .

This is right after 3 minutes . . .

geepeezy - I'm pretty excited for you. That kinda looks like a BFP though. :) Am I allowed to say that?

Test again in 24 hours maybe?

Molinari - I'm so sorry to hear that. :( I've had TWO iui's month because I'm a 26 day cycle, and I just got a BFN this morning. Talk about a deflation......

Geepeezy when do you go for your beta? That test is looking good. Hoping you get that confirmation soon

Molinari I am so sorry to hear that. Take your time to deal with this then plan for your next try. Hopefully this cycle will mean that you will know the best meds to get you good follies and start drinking the rrlt twice a day at least to help with your lining.

@Geepeezy my best advise is to contact your nurse or doctor to have your beta done. to see the doubling.

@Molinari im sorry to hear that. will you be starting again next cycle?

@hopeful that sounds like a good plan I hope it works out in your favor

afm went for iui #1 of two today and dh had 88.1mil post wash and 98% motile. im praying so hard that this is my month.
And a joke. yesterday when DH gave me my injection omg I thought I was going to fall to the ground he stabbed me lol. I yelled at him and told him he could never be a nurse. needles are not my friend

Indigo- I'm really sorry to hear about your bfn. Are you moving on to another iui?

hopeful_lyns- Thanks for your words, I will definitely get back on my RRLT right away.

Lovelypink- Good luck for this cycle! KMFX this is it for you!

AFM- I needed a day to just let out all the yucky emotions I was feeling yesterday. You can definitely tell that I've been crying, even today. But what are you going to do? It's all apart of the process I suppose. I am waiting to hear back from my nurse with my progesterone level. She said that will better determine when I should expect AF to come. I asked her if we were doing anything different this time around. I'm wondering if I should switch donors?? I'm not sure if it just didn't work because it wasn't meant to, or if there is something that I can do differently this cycle. Anyway, trying my best to be hopeful.

Molinari - I switched donors as well, I had 3 tries with one donor, and this was the first try with a new donor - maybe? It's funny because I liked this donor from the beginning but when I went to purchase, his supply was depleted so I went with an alternate choice - since then he's donated more and I was able to get it . . . it'll happen. Glad you got out your yucky emotions - I know how disappointing those BFN's can be. Just the other day when I had those faint positives on First Response and went digital and it said, "Not Pregnant" my heart sank.

Keep the faith ladies! This was my 4th try and it felt so disappointing previously . . . I'm still not out of the woods and will go for beta tomorrow! Trying not to count my chickens . . .

@lovely hope your TWW is smooth sailing and will lead to good news!

@geepeezy looking good! hope it's a nice, definite BFP soon!

@hopeful sorry about your forced break. i know it's tough to be thinking about ttc all the time. hopefully your ivf options will become a reality soon.

@indigo sorry about BFN. what dpiui are you?

@molinari sorry about the negative. i think we all know how you feel with the disappointment. let out your sadness and be ready and stress free for the next try.

i'm now 8dpiui and really have no symptoms. i'm trying so hard not to think about it, but of course it's all i can think about. i've been poas to test out the trigger. i can still see a really faint line 10 days past the trigger....the only time i have seen a bfp thus far. sigh. more waiting...

I have a question ladies and a bit frustrated at this moment. I did Ovidrel shot Wednesday night at 8:30pm, did iui yesterday at 10:40am about 14 hours after. Today I didn't get to do my second iui because of an emergency DH had. so my nurse told us to do TI which we did at 11:20am about 39 hours from Trigger shot. I think I got it covered but so nervous it wont work. any comments?

Lovelypink - Good luck and I think you got it covered!! Baby dust your way!!

Molinari - I am sorry to here your beta was negative. I was hoping it was your month! It is hard I know. We all I am sure like me have our break down day when we find out...then pick ourselves back up. Hoping for next cycle to be your miracle BFP!! :)

hopeful-lyns - Good luck next month! I hope you can start the process next month. So this clinic you go to is a government funded? Sorry I missed that info...

geepeezy - YAY!! BFP!! :D When do you go for a beta??

My update so far...
I went to get my blood work to check LH surge and do an ultra sound today. I got a negative on my OPK this morning so I don't think I am surging, lab results came in later today. My LH level is 9 today. Also, went yesterday my LH was only 5.1. Needs to be 20 and above to consider it a surge. My ultra sound showed follicles on both ovaries on the right still only 13 mm for the largest but on the left there was one that was 22mm! I am on CD 11 and Dr was wondering why one is so big this early. They were going to trigger me but Dr said no and wants to see my LH levels tomorrow as well. He really thinks I will surge on my own....and if I don't by Sunday then they will do a trigger and IUI Monday. If I am surging over the weekend it still sucks b/c there is no lab tech over the weekend in that office to do an IUI. We would have to go to the other office that is an hour away and this weekend would be hard to do since we have my husbands son this week. The other office is closer that i go to regularly. Anyways I am hoping I don't surge over that weekend and that 22 is good and the 13 on the right grows enough by Monday! I am tempted to buy this stork home insemination kit they sell at CVS pharmacy lol

I also asked out of curiosity how many follicles they see total and they said 14 but the others are only sizes 7-10 mm. Is having 14 follicles normal amount? I am also wondering how much bigger my 22 mm follicle is going to get by Sunday/Monday :omg:

Lovelypink - I'm sure you covered your bases - it's hard to know what is "right" and what is "wrong" - I think just the stars align (finally!) and things work out! But still the waiting is so hard!! What is TI?

dbliz - My doctor was pretty happy with 5 follicles, mine weren't all the "right size," but pretty close so I took an injection to stimulate those remaining few and then triggered. But one month I think I waited too long and only had one follicle that was too big!? Fourteen sounds like a lot!! But you're younger than me (I'm 38) and I never took Clomid, just Femara.

I went for a blood test today and received a confirmation call later today. My beta was 105 which he said is a good number at this point (15 dpiui). It's hard to know what to do, I've already told you ladies that I'm doing this alone - while I wouldn't do it if I didn't have great support in my life, kinda afraid to tell anyone just yet! Turned out the vacation in Maui helped - I can highly recommend it ;-) - helped me relax and not think about the wait. I know this isn't a financially viable solution when we're all spending so much money on this process - I was lucky that I sold my house recently and was able to use some funds from that for the trip.

Next beta is on Thursday - thanks ladies for being here. I came on this board initially because I felt hopeless and then my best friend tells me she's pregnant and I wanted to be happy for her, but instead just felt really sad. So I understand that sadness when AF arrives and having to wash away your hope and disappointment in order to focus on the next possibility! Keeping my fingers crossed and sending tons of baby dust for your next try!!

@geepeezy ti is timed intercourse . And thank you for your response.
@Dbliz It is normal to have that many follicles it's the mature ones that make the eggs from 17- I think 26mm some Drs accept like my RE. You should be fine

Carebearess- how are you feeling? Any symptoms yet? Remember that plenty of people have no symptoms and end up pregnant! KMFX for you!

Lovelypink- it does sound like you have it covered. Remember that the sperm and the egg do have a little bit of leway when trying to meet up. We always only have 1 iui so you're right where we usually are. Add in there the TI and I think you have it as covered as you possible can be! KMFX for you!

Dbliz- sounds like you have a house full in those ovaries! They told me I had 10 small ones at my last u/s as well. I think it's normal as long as they are below a certain number. Hopefully this means you are super fertile and will get your bfp this month! I've seen the home insemination kit you're talking about. I would totally consider thay if we weren't using donor sperm! Maybe use it for extra insurance! KMFX for you!

Geepeezy- your beta sounds great! So happy you were able to get your bfp! A lot of people wait until after their first trimester before they tell people, but you are going to explode if you can't tell anyone! At least I would! Maybe just tell the people you're closest with and ask that they don't share. When do you go for an u/s?

AFM- AF came yesterday with a vengeance! She was angry about something! RE wants to keep the same protocol as last cycle so 100mg Clomid and trigger shot. I start on Tuesday. I'll keep you posted! Thank you guys for being so wonderful, I can't imagine going through this without you!

Sending big hugs and baby dust! xoxoxo
