I've known I had PCOS from multiple u/s in the last 15 years so we didn't have to have any testing to confirm that. They did test DH and we got those morphology results that weren't great but motility numbers and count were great. I really hope we don't have to get to HSG and I'm just pregnant now... please just let me be pregnant.

I worked on my family's country home (my great-grandfather built it nearly 100 years ago) all weekend. It kept my mind occupied quite well. I was really sad to come back to work today. one more week. i'm trying to just ignore it. No symptoms.

My twin gave birth last night. 3.5 hours start to finish, one two three push for water, baby and placenta. I am so happy for her and I loved on my niece and I'm going to go love on her some more today at lunch but I also bawled my eyes out once I got home.

great news! that's a QUICK labor! Isn't the love of a neice/nephew unreal? When my nephew was born I felt like I could finally breathe. Although I wanted my own baby so terribly, the love I felt for him completely comforted me. I'm praying so hard for you Amsmith! I've been out of the office (and that's typically when I'm on here) sorry to be MIA! I'll be checking in on my phone tomorrow nad Friday though, we're going on a much needed quick vacation getaway. How are you feeling?

Oh I love her so dearly, it really is incredible but the fact that they got accidentally pregnant while we were trying so hard and she gave birth before I can even manage one positive just pulls at my heart. I'm so glad you guys are getting out. We need to, but DH's new job at the hospital is putting all travel on hiatus for quite some time I do believe. Hospitals never close, so the hours are so insane it just kills vacation time (and alone time and I may even have to get another family member to go to Jax with me for the HSG if this month is another BFN). I once again have this sinking feeling like it didn't work. Usually the week I have HCG in my system I eat less and have more energy. That is gone this week, just like last week. Still no symptoms really. I had a lot of pain 1-3dpiui (horrible cramping) but since then, nothing. I'm dreading the test but I still have to wait until Saturday at the earliest (12dpiui) and in all probability Monday to even do that. *sigh*

It's so hard to know that people can "accidentally" do it when we have to go through so much. It will give you a completely different appreciation for your child. I will guarantee that. I really think we take less for granted knowing how hard it was to get DD. Have you seen the movie "what to expect" about the people all going through having a baby in their own ways? I love that movie. I love when the older dad gets his young wife knocked up with twins on accident and she has the easiest pregnancy and then sneezes and the babies both come out with each sneeze. Then the kids are crazy and cry nonstop ;) that's what happens when it's too easy JK, but really :)

well that child has yet to scream, not even once. She's about 43 hours old and she hasn't cried. she coos and that is the extent of her noise making. I'm totally in love and totally terrified of yet another BFN at the same time. It's like I can't get the TWW to go away long enough for me to enjoy the thought of that sweet girl. It's great when I'm in the room with her, I can focus on how sweet and precious she is but sitting here in my office, all I can see is that stark white strip looming.

I'm not feeling optimistic about tomorrow. I'm more optimistic about the fact that I've heard some women get pregnant quickly after an HSG so maybe if tomorrow is another BFN we can go the HSG and then try again. Josh's new job means that we have another $2500 in baby money but it won't come in until after I need the HSG I think - so We've got $220 left in the baby fund (and another $280 will have to come out of pocket) for the test and then the new 2500 will come in and that's another 3 rounds of IUI. Or hopefully just one more round and then delivery money. The good thing though is that because his new job is at the hospital, all of our copays will be cut in half. so $125 delivery fee instead of $250, along with any other hospital fees. I'll jump on with results in the morning.

Also, baby JJ is doing great - still no crying or screaming but saw doctor for 4 day old check up and she's doing fabulous, put back on 2 of the 4 oz she lost day 1 and mom's milk has come in so she's eating again (she wasn't a fan of straight colostrum). She's so sweet, I just want one just like her.

That's great news! Such a perk to the job! It'll really help your hospital bill once you deliver too! Did you test today?

I chickened out and didn't test Saturday. tested yesterday, BFN. My mom also went to our urgent care center yesterday and one of her blood tests came back that she is in congestive heart failure. It was not a stellar day. I'm at work today but not functioning super well - just trying to do my job. I'm just hoping that AF waits a few more days because DH's FSA account won't go into effect until he starts next Monday so I don't really want to have the HSG before he starts because $300 would come out of our pockets instead of one of the FSA accounts.

oh amssmith i'm so sorry. my heart hurts for you. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom! What a crappy day. I know it's hard to focus on much right now. What day does the RE do the HSG on? I feel like there wasn't a special day for mine but I had it done back in late 2013 so I'm not 100%. If you do wait a few days for AF and the FSA is available, will you do another IUI immediately or wait?

I don't know what day the HSG is on. We will do the HSG and then immediately another IUI, as soon as they will let me. I haven't talked to the RE. I expect that will happen CD1 once she shows up. It's not a great day and all I really want is a drink but I can't bring myself to have one until she starts.
