Well I am doing a pretty bad job kepping cool. I cannot take my mind off of symptom spotting and reading all kinds of pregnancy and ttc stuff online.
As for me I have no symptoms today as well. I had a dry cough last night and when I was coughing i could feel my abdomen sore. Otherwise I did not even realize it was sore. I had stuff nose this morning but it did go away after some time.
I decided to resume my workout from today after taking break monday and tuesday. Nothing major- just a normal walk of 2-3 miles.
How are you all holding up?

Thanks! I hope so as well! Not totally sure what issues specifically. Sperm is good to go. I'm ovulating - and using Clomid. I haven't done the HSG test yet. I'm going to do that next cycle if this doesn't work, but my doc really doesn't think that is the issue. After two more cycles she will refer me to IVF, ugh. I am 35, my hubby is 27. My first blood test showed inconclusive results - my doctor thought that it might mean that my ovaries are aging. I think that it.....

Shalu: Been there, done that! Awefully difficult not to symptom spot! I am fxing thus is the cycle for all of us here. I hope you can find something to keep yourself busy.
Marsh: I am surprised your doc is doing iui without checking for tubes via hsg. Just think its a good reassurance, if nothing else. I am sure there is some explanation for it. Fxing for you.

Question....it seems that some women get BFPs even before missing their period. I am 8dpo and am getting BFNs and don't really think I have any symptoms. Do you think there is still a chance? I'm trying to stay positive!
Fri Mar 18, 2016 6:22 am
It is true that there are women whp got a bfp as early as 8 or 9 dpo. But there are also many women who were indeed pregnant but did not ealize until 12 or 14 dpo. It all depends on how early the implantation process started. I tjink you just fall under the latter case. So keep checking on 12 and 14 dpo and stay positive. Good luck!

Thank you Shalu! Staying positive....it's gotta happen eventually, right?
Fri Mar 18, 2016 10:24 am
Marsh: Yes, even if it is bfn now, you will eventually get bfp after implantation process has successfully started.
As for me, I successfully completed my 3 dpiui. I am as strong as a rock. No symptoms whatsoever. My RE prescribed progesterone suppositories that I have to start tonight until 14 days from today. I have heard progesterone mimics preggo symptoms but, I really doubt that it will have any affect on me ( remember, I am a rock
Nickysy: how r u doing? Do u feel relieved from all the cramping and bloating after IUI?
Trinette: how r u? Any update from the last post?
Fri Mar 18, 2016 12:01 pm
Marsh: A lot of females def do not get positives till 14-16 dpo. So i am staying positive for you as well. Fxing this is your month.
Shalu: Glad that you are feeling solid like a rock. Unluckily for me, progesterone def causes me lots of cramps. So i am already prepped for it in my mind this time!

Hello ladies. Hows everyone doing?
Mon Mar 21, 2016 5:46 am
Hi nickysy: Iam fine, thank u. I started progesterone suppositories 100mg from Friday. It made my belly bloat and boobs bigger. Other than that, i dont have any complaints. Today is dpiui 6 and I cant wait for this to be over.
I woke up sunday thinking what if this cycle wont workout for me? I quickly did some research and found out that there are two major processes that take place after IUI. One is fertilization and the other is implantation. So if a cycle wont work , its because either of these processes has failed. So I would like to ask is there something we can do to find out where exactly the cycle fails? Can we find out if fertilization has occurred or not in the first place? Because if fertilization itself fails then there is no point taking progesterone to make the lining thicker and prepare for implantation, right?
Mon Mar 21, 2016 11:53 am
Hi shalu.. I really don't think there's a way to know for sure if fertilization has taken place. But, if it does, then progesterone has shown helping implantation. Else, after stopping the pills, levels fall and the AF shows up. Which is anyway a normal body mechanism, progesterone is always higher in the luteal phase and declines before AF. Glad your major complain is bloating. For me, its bloating and stupid cramps. Good luck. I hope your tww passes by soon. How long is your lp generally?
Mon Mar 21, 2016 1:28 pm
My cycle is usually 30-32 days on clomid. The luteal phase is usually 14 days since I ovulate either on 15 pr 16th days of the cycle. This month 29th is crucial as it is end of tww and the day of my AF as well.
Nickysy: how long is your cycle? Also what day are u testing?
Tue Mar 22, 2016 5:40 am
My cycles are about 27-30 days generally shalu. And my lp is about 14 days. But it did get prolonged to 16 days on progesterone earlier. So might be the same this time around. Expecting AF around 1-3 rd Apr. So, will only test if it doesnt show up. Tired of BFN strings. They always sadden me.

A quick question. Does taking progesterone make u thirsty? Any one who has taken progesterone experience this? Its first time i am taking it this month and it makes me really thirsty. I usually drink 2.5 to 3 litres a day but, I cant get enought now. My lips are dry and patchy. I never drink water before breakfast but today I woke up feeling parched and drank so much before breakfast.
