Are you trying intrauterine insemination this month? Or have some questions about IUI? This is the place for you!

I saw a few IUI posts and was hoping we could start a cycle buddies group for the month of March! We did ours 3/9 on CD 18. I took Femara CD 4-9, stuck estrogen pills up my hooha CD 12-present, took Ovidrel trigger shot 3/7, started progesterone suppositories CD 19 (day after IUI). This is the most drugged up I've ever been on a cycle, lol! I sure hope it works.

Hey, i had my first IUI March 11. I took clomid days 3-7 and the IUI was on day 15. I did acupuncture 2 days before my IUI and will be going back later this week (a week after IUI to help with implantation). I am not on any other medications but have been reading lots of forums where ladies are taking progesterone, etc so I might ask my doctor about that if this does not work. Good luck!!

I did acupuncture too!
I did it like 3 times leading up to the IUI and once after. I hadn't planned to do it again but maybe I should. Did you get the kind that they put electricity through the needles? I didn't even know that was a thing but that's how they did it before the IUI but I was a weenie about it and imagined it electrocuting an embryo if there was one so she didn't use electricity post-IUI. She laughed at me a little lol. I can't help it, freaked me out!

That's crazy! I never got the electroshock one, it was apparently "fertility" acupuncture where there was about 4 needles in my abdomen, and some in my feet. Not too sure what it'll be when I go next, apparently this one will help implantation. I don't blame you for not trying it after IUI, after trying for so long you don't want to mess around

Electroshock haha! I like that. When she didn't hook up the electrodes that last time I was like "You aren't going to electrocute me this time?" She laughed. lol. It supposed to be safe but I still am too scared! I wasn't going to a fertility specialist, just the acupuncture offered at my chiro's office so they weren't doing fertility specific until after the IUI then they did a point on my hips and that's the closest they ever got to the abdomen. But it was only $35 going there verses $60 at the holistic fertility specialists and they wanted you to start 3 months prior to any fertility procedure and I just couldn't spend that much money. Infertility is expensive enough as it is. I just hope it was enough to open up some blockages in my "energy" to help things along. The electricity apparently helps put more energy into the points that are blocked.

Hi Nicky! I recognize your name and I bet we're in another thread together, I like seeing familiar "faces" hehe! I hope work is fun and busy for you, the TWW is endless it seems. I POAS waaaayyyy early and got 2 BFNs but saw what I think was a very very very faint line yesterday so I'm testing today 12dpo (it's 4 am as I post this, I mean after sleeping and waking, I'm up way too late) and praying I see a second line again. It will be even harder to get a BFN after seeing a faint line or what I thought was a faint line. Please oh please.
