Hello, I have felt a little lonely so I decided to join and share my experience. Hubby and I have been TTC now for 6 years and finally we decided to try IUI. Today I am 5 days from the beginning of my next period. I have no BT but I do have aheache and colics. I am afraid my period will start over again.

rootann welcome as well! This journey can get really lonely. Helps to have supportive group of people going through the same thing. We have been ttc since 2011. What is your current regimen? Sorry I'm using my cell can't see the signatures in case you have it updated.

I just got the official BFN from iui #2 Friday. Trying something different every time, hoping one will work. Can't hurt to try something new I guess.

Posted this on another thread too, sorry for the doubles!
First IUI tomorrow.
First time trying Femara too. Had trigger Ovidrel today in the morning, the doctor said two follicles were really mature and ovulation had most probably started.
I have no side effects whatsoever, although I was more impatient of the last two days on Femara (d3-d7).
I'm new to all of this. Hopefully it all goes well.
My best wishes to all of you. I admire your determination.

I had my first IUI yesterday, May 23, 2016. I did Clomid CD3-CD7, Ovidrel trigger on CD12, and IUI CD14.

I started this because I had cervical stenosis due to a LEEP back in 2005.

Now just trying to get through this TWW...

Hey Scottsbaby, I haven't been tested for cervical stenosis and I have an appointment with an infertility specialist July 6th, after having some tests with my normal gyno. Then I read today that having a LEEP procedure can make it harder to get pregnant because of scar tissue... and I've had a LEEP procedure! Between that and my husband having a lower percentage of good shaped sperm, I see an IUI in my future. Also I don't ovulate as regularly as I should. My gyno just happened to mention a week ago that I have a lot of scar tissue while having a different procedure done and then I read about that and now seeing your post. It's just too weird! Hoping your tww goes by fast! I hope to have an iui in september, wish it would get here already!

Hi rubeyth, I had never heard about cervical stenosis until the RE tried to perform the HSG. He could not get the catheter in after several tries. He said it was due to scar tissue on the cervical os, so my obgyn sent me to a specialist. The specialist was able to get through the scar tissue on the cervical os with no problem, and was able to perform the HSG and thankfully I have no other scar tissue issues inside. Who would have thought that the LEEP would lead to this...

I have no issues with ovulation. I've had my obgyn check that several times in the 3 years we've been ttc, but in December we finally decided to look further and that's when we found out about the cervical stenosis due to the LEEP.

Anyways, I'm now on 2dpiui and I feel like these days are going by extremely slow. Good luck to you!

I have already kind of self diagnosed on that lol. When I go see the specialist I'm going to point it out.

I bet the days will go super slow,I worry about that a bit. I guess that is why this is called twoweekwait.com.... because it is an agonizing two weeks. Try to keep your head up and stay busy. Wishing you have your bfp very soon!

Hi ladies,
Welcome to all the new names/faces! Good luck to you all. This forum has really helped me feel like I am not alone in this journey and that other people do understand what I’m going through. I hope you find the same comfort in it that I have.

I had my CD12 u/s on Tuesday and only found one dominant follicle. There were others but not really large enough to measure. I tend to ovulate on my own around CD16 so I think there’s still hope they’ll grow and be ready by the time I ovulate. The sucky part is my CD16 will be Saturday which means the IUI would be Sunday, during a holiday weekend. My doc told me not to worry about that and they’d make it work no matter what. So that was reassuring.

I asked him how many IUIs he likes to do before moving on to IVF or more intense testing. He said he doesn’t like to do any other tests, including the HSG, until at least 4 IUIs! That seems like a lot to me, but he says the testing is much more expensive than the IUI and more uncomfortable. For the ladies that had an HSG, when did you do it? Before/after IUIs? I guess in the grand scheme of things, the IUI isn’t that expensive, but its adding up really fast the more we do, and if I need to do the HSG, why wait?
Me: 30, mild endo
DH: 32, low motility but improving
TTC #1 since Jan '15
March '16 IUI #1 w/clomid (50mg) = BFN
April '16 IUI #2 w/clomid (50mg) = BFN

Ginger no doctor ever should do an IUI whitout checking ur tubes first(hsg)at least the doctors I have seen works this way.Yes the testing is expensive but what if God forbid your tubes are blocked or damaged in any way?!Wouldnt you have spent time and money on something useless?!

gingersnap86, I had my HSG the cycle before my IUI. The HSG was the next step after my ovulation blood test was fine.

Hi Myazzie11,
I've had cramps, here and there, but today I had more noticeable cramps and tender breast earlier in the day.
