I'm back from the hysteroscopy and it was awful! I'm a huge wimp but it didn't help that they couldn't get the camera in cuz the inversion of my uterus is sharp and they couldn't get it to go around the bend. Lawd! It was so bad. They finally gave up and tried using a different type of cathetar and that was much better and they were able to do it really quickly. So I survived (just barely) and everything looks good and normal. Yay!

Hopefully it will come any minute now...and it dont take another 40 plus days.
Not sure what to do.
I took it very easy this month just ttc and hope for the best but didnt work. Im 38 i realize its going to be a longer road than i thought. Its been a year since we really disided to try with a specialist and only God knows when im going to get my baby. Thanks to you all that keep given positive vibes to each other because its hard.
I have seen other ladies that has been here much longer and i know that is that love for that onborn child that keep them going.

third beta came back at 27 so a one point increase. RE said its either a blighted ovum or a ectopic pregnancy. At this point I will need betas every two days and now we need them to decrease so we know my body is ending the pregnancy on its own. If my beta do not change or increase slightly then I will likely need medical intervention to terminate. I finally told DH and wasn't prepared for his grief he still wants to wait and hope things improve. He doesn't seem to understand that's by 7 days the numbers should have increased dramatically. After this RE suggested waiting 2-3 months before ttc again and I think this is a great idea I will need just that much time to heal from this.

I'm sorry panda I didn't see that.. I'm glad everything was good, that's great news!!! Boo to the procedure being uncomfortable :( have you had any spotting?? What's up next for you in this journey?

Mglupe how long is your lp typically?? Is it normally that long?? This community has been great for those of us going through infertility. It's nice to talk to others that understand what you're going through av's how bad you want it! You hang on tight, it'll happen for you too!!

Chantilly I'm so sorry :( you guys need to take as much time as you need/want to heal, there's no time limit on that :( my heart is breaking for you and your dh, this is just so awful. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please lean on us for support when you need it, we are here.

Have a good weekend :)

Chantilly, I'm so, so sorry to hear this news :( my heart goes out to you. What a disappointment, I know this is so difficult to deal with. I hope that it makes you feel a tiny bit better to know that you are not alone, that this happens to tons and tons of women and they go on to have healthy pregnancies and babies. You will succeed eventually. Wishing you all the best for the road ahead, we are all here to help and support you if you want to talk/vent/etc.

Mglupe, I'm sorry to hear that it's looking like another BFN this month, that really sucks :( What do you think you'll do next? How many IUI's have you had?

Ckatta, yes, I had some spotting after the procedure, feel ok otherwise. How are you? Anything new? How many days post O are you? Hope you have a good weekend too :)

Ckatta my lp is usually 14 to 16 depedening if i use the progesteron. But since i have been un medication its making it longer. This cycle was the first with clomid day 4 to 8 ovulated day 13. No progesteron. Today is day 16 and no sign of it no symptoms. Not even the headache i does get.
I feel i need another month of a break i have another refill of clomid with the estradiol i think i would give it another try not being monitor just testing for ovulation. It felt really good not having the trigger shot in my system.
This time would start day 3 to 7 never done them that early maybe that will do the trick.
Panda i have done 5 iui, 3 medicated cycle cancel so a total of 8 for the year. Have taken breaks on between one develop cys another went in with a D&C to explore and find out why none have stick. Everything look normal.

Hi guys, well, I'm putting the breaks on IVF for now. I'm starting to panic and feel overwhelmed so I'm going to hold off a month to see if I feel better. It's just not feeling right, and I'm dealing with some personal issues that I think I need to sort out so it will be another month off for me. I'm kind of relieved. IVF is scary!

I hope you guys are doing all right. Mcglupe and Ckatta, I'm glad you're both taking breaks (not full breaks I know, but it's still good to take a step back and try less intensive action)... I guess Chantilly is going to be taking somewhat of a forced break too. So we are the taking-a-break team.

Panda I can imagine how overwhelming Ivf can get and quickly im sure! I'm glad that you're doing what's best for you!!! Definitely sorting out your own personal stuff and getting ready (mind and body) for Ivf is a good idea
if you go back to the Ivf route. Are you all done with the testing they wanted you to do this cycle?

I'm 9 dpo, I am supposed to go for my progesterone labs and don't think I'm going. I'll do it for Septembers cycle. I tested with fmu and bfn, Af will be here in 2 days.

Pandagrl u made me laugh with your ending comment. We are the taking a break team!! Lol.
Yes, i can imagine how much stress full ivf would be. People say it so easy go with the ivf, but dont have an idea of it.
Ckatta fx for you hang in there ine more week.
As for me came down with a bad cold flu type symtom yesterday morning day 3 of my cycle was not sure if to take the clomid or forget all about it this month since i was drinking day quil and night quil. But i still pop my pill last night oh well let see. This time im not being monitor. Scary no ultrasound nada!! These are just extra medication i have and im just going to finish them. If nothing happen this cycle i guess i will go back to the more agresive treatment injectable and femara with trigger shot that i really dont enjoy.

Hi ladies, hope everyone had a nice long weekend.

Ckatta, did you get AF? I hope the next cycle goes better for you... are you still taking a break from the meds?

Mglupe, are you feeling better?

Sorry I have been MIA, just trying to sort things out in my head. I'm completely questioning whether I want to be a choice mom and it's got me quite depressed. I really want to have a child but I don't want to do IVF by myself and it's making me question if I should even be a mother on my own. I've started to see a therapist to help me out with these feelings. I'm also dating a guy and considering whether we should just have kids together, though I'm not sure about that either. He's great but there are lots of issues so I thought I could just do it on my own but I'm not so sure anymore. Wish I didn't have a biological clock! I don't feel like I have enough time to sort out all the complicated s**t in my life.
