I didn't take any triggers just went in after I surged naturally. I wonder what the chances are testing a little early are.

My 12 DPO beta came back at 42, so I would guess that I would have gotten a positive anytime after day 9. I think the very sensitive tests can pick up pregnancy around 9-12 days after ovulation if I had to guess. :)

I was at CD3 last dec 29. I was prescribed to take 2 clomid pills for 5 days. U/S at CD10 had 2 follies one at 17mm and another at 13. I was asked to BD that night and OPK first thing the following morning. I would have to do my own trigger shot because it's weekend and clinic was closed. I never had + OPK through the weekend so when I returned to the clinic on 1/9/17 (CD14) my follies are at 23mm, 18mm and another one came out at 13 mm. They gave me the trigger shot right away around 10 AM and sched me for IUI the very next day at 8:30 AM. I was prescribed to take CoQ10 (i and my DH, so I ran to costco and got ourselves 150 mg/ need to take 300 mg per day) DH had low count and abnormal shapes. We esp my DH were devastated but we hoped for God's intervention. It took exactly 2 hours to perform the whole procedure. Step one, they checked my vitals took the sample and put in warmer (btw, sample was at that time 1 hr old). Step 2 they washed the sperms/ took about 45 min. Step 3 RE performed IUI about 15 min including verification of sample labels & consent signing. Step 4, was told to keep my knees up and stay in bed for 30 minutes. They scheduled us for another IUI the very next day (another $250 co-pay). On My second IUI (CD16), we were told that sample was so
much better than the day before. (I think because DH was less tensed and he was told the day before to take MUCINEX or any expectorant so samples would loosen, don't knwo what that meant but it probably helped. Samples were about 20 min old; fewer but better quality) after the sperms were injected i was told to lift my butt, they put pillows under my hips asked to keep my knees close to my chest. DH was told to sit at the edge of the bed so I could rest my feet towards his back. I was at this position for 30 minutes. We're now 4dpiui and on 2ww. I will be back 7dpiui so they could check my progesterone level then be back again on 14dpiui to test for pregnancy. Praying.

Best of luck!! Hoping for some BFPs to come our way this week!!! 5 DPIUI for me here, and I remember from my BFP cycle that I started having cramps around 8 DPIUI, so I'm getting nervous... I really pray this works for us!!

Hello ladies!

I have been reading all month. I am waiting for IUI #5... protocol to start probably by the end of the week or whenever the witch will show up! I was reading S&V's post where she was wondering about the "odds" of testing early... I like to obsess on the odds on this website : http://whenmybaby.com/implantation-doub ... ulator.php

Many of you might know it. Can be useful, or just another thing to be anxious about ;)

Wishing January BFPs all around! Take care xx

BFN 6 days before my expected period. So, I could be pregnant... I'm really in the same boat as before I tested. Silly me! I'll be waiting for AF or my blood test next Monday.

Hello everyone! I'm back in here from the August/Sept/Oct/November IUI thread (wow, way too many IUIs for me in 2016 ;-)
Lots of familiar faces in here from the other IUI buddy groups.
GeekyGab & Pixie Dust & Boatlife & Leslie: let's hope that after so many months this will finally be our lucky one :)

After 4 failed IUIs in 2016 and a hysteroscopy/laparoscopy in December it's now our first IUI since "fixing" everything that had to be fixed and according to my doc our success rates would definitely be the highest in this round. I had my first IUI today and the second one (we always do back-to-back) tomorrow. So the TTW officially begins for me : -)

Glad to be sharing this with you guys :)

Geeky - good to hear from you!
Hopesin- Welcome Back! Sounds like a promising month for you!

How is everyone feeling today?
I've felt pretty tired, and wound up taking a nap. I feel a little under the weather, runny nose and just feeling a little nauseous. I made plans for tonight, tomorrow and Thursday. Also, this time I've been tracking the trigger with Amazon cheapies. I made a chart and I've been attaching my tests every morning. It's been 7 days and the trigger is still going strong.

Here's to hoping the next few days will fly by.

Thanks Pixie, let's hope it's gonna be our last month as IUI buddies ;-)

What days are you ladies at right now? For me it's the very beginning - 1dpiui. It's gonna be two looooong weeks :)
Anything you all look out for in particular during the TWW? Any changes in nutrition? Light sports or better just relaxing?

Hi Hopesin,

I hope the next few weeks will go well. Personally, I don't take any progesterone supplements or anything after the HCG trigger, and I have some distinct memories of some symptoms I had when I was pregnant, so I look for those. I didn't have any implantation bleeding, but I was very tired, sore boobs and I had some cramping/stretching or bloating pains in my abdomen. I think my boobs started hurting more after 15 dpiui, but the cramps started around 8 days into it... They were different than AF cramps. It felt more like a stretching pain in my lower belly.

Other than that, I tested positive very early... like had a positive digital test 12 days into it, so I just watch for the darkening lines on HPTs. But I think the trigger can be confusing, so I'm saving all my cheapies in a chart day by day. It's 7dpiui for me, 8 dpt and the trigger is still going strong!

Hope everyone is feeling good today! Can't wait to hear some BFP stories!
