Hi all,

I'll be having my third and last IUI this Thursday before moving onto IVF. 18mm follicle on my left and 17mm on my right. LH is 11.53, Estrogen is 214 (which is normal for Femara), lining is 7.5 (thickest it has been). I'm doing the trigger shot tonight. I was feeling pretty down the last few weeks but now have a little bit of hope.

Fingers crossed for everyone!

I may potentially be a June IUI.

Tomorrow will be 14 dpiui number 2 for me. tested this morning with fmu and got a bfn. mild cramping, sore boobs upon touch and a whole lot of nothing else. usually i cramp far worse than this. i don't know what to think but my heart hurts. it doesn't help that clomid makes my 28 day cycles 31 days.

3 follies and a trigger shot- great response to clomid in size and numbers
we had a count of 23.9 mil with 56% motility
my tubes are open and i ovulate regularly

Hi there Ladies,
so I'm back! June 2nd (Friday) will be our 2nd IUI. We skipped a month since DH's results were bad and we had to figure that out. He's testosterone level was really low and urologist said everything looks ok. So, DH is on 50mg of Clomid 3xweek. We will see with what result.
I had 100mg clomid CD2, 100mg CD3, and 50 mg CD 3, 4, 5. This got me 1 follicile and rather thin endometrium:/
We kind of convinced our doctor that we want the IUI, because he didn't give this month much chance.
Ech...
Well, I am positive despite that! Maybe it's our lucky month :)

Baby dust to all :)

Hey there!
Technically on our 6th IUI, although had to cancel a few because DH's count was zero. :( Others were 700,000, and 1.2 million. So, yeah....
BUT this is the month! I posted on another comment about how my tech did some new miracle swishing method and after little to no spermies, was able to get 3.6 million! Then she let the rest sit for a few minutes and got another 700K! It was like she told us we had a billion I was so excited. I wanted to share that with anyone who has low post-wash counts.
I also went on Clomid and Menapur this cycle and got 3 follicles at trigger: 16mm, 18mm, and 21mm. Just to increase the odds. On day 1piui.
Fingers crossed for us all!

Me: 39, no known issues (and we've tested everything!)
DH: 42, very low motility, often zero, no known cause (and we've tested everything!)
TTC: 50 cycles, no BFPs

This is our 1st iui! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. I went in for a scan today and had two 19mm follicles on my right side. Will trigger tomorrow and we'll do our iui first thing Saturday morning.

Glad to see there are a lot of June buddies on here now!

Just went in for my IUI this morning. DH's sample was 50 mil after wash and 52% motility which is pretty good.

Feeling a bit bloated and sore but not too bad. Less cramping than after previous IUIs so far. I plan on starting progesterone suppositories on Sat morning.

How many ladies on here BD in addition to the IUI and, if so, when? The last IUI, we were intimate the night of the trigger shot just to cover our bases and did the same thing this time. I'm always so scared that I'm going to ovulate before the IUI and it will all be for nothing. I know most doctors advise not to BD the night of the trigger shot (about 36 hours before IUI) because it might affect the sperm sample but since my husband doesn't have MFI, I'm thinking it is okay?

Would you recommend BD'ing the night of IUI as well? I'm a bit sore and it's sort of the last thing I want to do tonight so wondering how necessary people think it is and what others are doing.

Thanks!
Amanda

Amanda, we were told the night of the trigger was ok and then to hold off til the iui. I figure if you're feeling up to it anything after couldn't hurt just to make sure.

Howdy, can I join?

I was supposed to have my first IUI in May but I didn't respond well to the first round of Femara. On CD 11 my estrogen was 63 and when I went back on CD 13 I was at 57, so they started me back on Femara that night for another five days. I've been getting pretty twinges on both sides the last few day. This is typical, I guess? I'm a little worried I'm going to ovulate before I can trigger, or that I'm going to go in and they will let me I have too many follicle. Probably just first timer's fear.

Supposed to have my follow up tomorrow AM. I'm assuming (and hoping) I'll trigger tomorrow night and will have the IUI on Sunday. I have work that I absolutely cannot get out of on Monday and Tuesday. Terrible timing. Wishing good luck to everyone!

Hi SJFL412

Let us know how tomorrow goes and if you responded to the second batch of Femara! Glad you didn't have to cancel the cycle entirely.
