What were your counts for your first IUI. I am thinking we will have to go the IVF route as well due to my husband's low morphology.

1 IUI:
PRE-wash:
Count 10mil, concentration 4mil/ml, A+B count 1,3mil
A-0%, B-13%, C-13%, D-74%
POST-wash:
Concentration 4mil/ml, A+B count 1,2 mil, mobility 60%

2 IUI:
PRE-wash:
Count 11,2 mil, concentration 2,8 mil/ml, A+B count 3,2 mil
A-6%, B-23%, C-16%, D-55%
POST-wash:
Concentration 2,8mil, A+B Count 1,1 mil, mobility 80%

SarahElise yes, he is taking 50mg of clomid every third day.

What do you think?

Bella89,

I was not aware that he could take meds. I will have to look into that.

My post wash counts were 10 million, 99 percent mobility.

Uh, this 2 weeks of waiting is going to kill me. I have a bad feeling it didn't work as I have been stressed with work. Trying to remain calm and positive.

Yes, clomid stimulates the production of testosterone. Through other hormone I forgot it's name:/

Your post wash looks great to me!:) way better than ours, but you only need 1, right? :)

I completely know what you're talking about. Me and DH are starting a new bussiness and it's so hectic right now:/ I dont have much time to think about 2ww on the plus side:)

We can't think it didn't work!!! We need to be positive because positive thinking always sends babies:) good energy is creating good things!!! :)

Those numbers look good. I was going to suggest Clomid, but he's on it. My husband produces pretty much nothing when he isn't one it. It's amazing that it works so well for men!

You know what I am wondering about... If I am pregnant right now, should we consult endocrynologyst (i don't know if i spelled it right:) to be sure DH is healthy. I doubt he can take clomid forever, but testosterone is very important for men. My DH's levels are low- means higher risk of heart disease i.e.

DH has varicocele which his urologist thinks is causing his low T. Urologist said to continue with the Clomid until we decide we're done having kids. After that he can do regular testosterone shots. Wouldn't hurt for him to go get checked out.

25mg a day.

Hi, this is the first time I join a forum! I feel pretty alone here in India doing this IUI. my pregnancy test is the 19th. I am affirming every day and believe in positive thinking, but its hard! I did two IUIs 27 and the 29th May...

Bianca11,

I think we are in the same boat. I have read many instances where the first iui worked! Stay positive. :)

nehakanak,

remember it only takes one! I am trying to think positively as this was my first iui experience. I don't know that the numbers matter as much as we think...it only takes one.

Nehakanak-

mdk4423 is right. My husband had good numbers both IUIs (Around 160 pre wash and I think around 40 mil post wash) and I still haven't gotten pregnant (although knock on wood it will happen this time around)! Higher sperm numbers don't always mean you will get pregnant. I've heard of women getting pregnant with very low sperm counts.

Stay positive

I am COMPLETELY with you on this :hugs: When I lied on the bed at the doctors to have IUI done the nurse right from the door said "Well, this time your husbands spern is not too good". I wanted to smack her and run away from there :( But you know what? Screw them, these are not their babies and they don't have to believe!
We need to be patient. Remember, positive thinking and faith in positive outcome will bring you a baby. Don't assume your babby is not in your belly. It can get offended you know :) Please, try to think positive.
