Hi guys, I'm Gemma and my partner is Tina. We have a 1 year old boy from our first round of IUI born 21.10.2016, we're just about to have another round of IUI to try for a second child. I'm on gonadotropin injections 75 a day at the moment, back and forth for ultrasound scans on follicles. So far there are 2 good sizes follicles, we're back tomorrow Friday 3rd Nov for another US. Will be getting the trigger shot within the next few days ready for IUI next week. Anyone else around this stage or planning for IUI in November?

My 2 good sized follicles at todays scan were around 13mm. I've also got a lot of small follicles too. Ordinarily my injections would be increased now and over the weekend but they've had to stay at 75 because there are so many follicles and we want to avoid overstimulation. We have to see what happens at next scan on Monday which will determine if we're able to trigger or if were forced to abandon the cycle, we have been advised to discuss the possibility of multiple pregnancy. A lot of new information for us today, we don't really know what to think until Monday. Sending you baby dust too :)

Hi FletcherGT,

How was your scan went today?
Also, may i know which CD you were on when you got 13mm follicles?

And I'm sorry i can't give you any useful info on over stimulation related issues.
I really wish someone could clear your doubts with a good answer soon..

Did you use the same prtocol for your first baby?

keep me posted. :)

As for me, I'm on CD12 today and had my US.

Got 2 follies, on right ovary measuring 27 and 21.

I'm triggering tonight ovidac 10000.

IUi on CD 14.
I'm little scared of the size of 27mm follie. I never had that big .
And already feeling like I'm above to O.

My RE didn't mention any risk, neither i asked.

So here's hoping for everything to go well..

good luck to both of us!

Hi mybaby,

Good news from my scan today! One follicle is at 20mm, the other potentially good one hasn't grown much more than 10mm and the loads of other littles ones have stayed little. I took one last injection today 75 Gonal-F and.I'm triggering tonight at 22:30 with Ovitrelle 250mg for IUI on Wednesday at 10:30. Today is CD 12, treatment say will be CD14. When the follicle was 13mm it was CD9. Good luck cycle buddy! Keep in touch, I'm rooting for you :D

Hi FletcherGT,

I'm very glad to hear your US result.
I think 20mm is not too big, not two tiny.. the perfect range, i assume.
fingers crossed for you. :)

And it must be a releif to know that little follies are not going to grow.. :)

And oh yeah, we are going to be cycle buddies...

:) :)

Im shceduled for iui on CD 14, wednesday in the morning around 11.00.

But evrything depends on my pre iui scan.
They do the iui, after the pre scan confirms that i have ovulated.

So , actually i cant wait.
I'm thrilled.
I'm nervous and excited.

I badly wanna have a miracle.

Hello, I’m scheduled to have my first IUI late this month. I’m 36 with no kids. My AMH is 0.84, FSH is 9.6, and estrodol is 74. These were my results from March I have to re-test this cycle and if everything is at a decent level we will try the IUI. My husband also has retrograde ejaculation. I hope the IUI works. We really don’t have the resources for IVF. All the factors above are not on our side but I have hope. Looking forward to reading your stories for advise and knowledge on the process. Baby Dust to you all

Hi, I am going to be having my 4th iui the week of Thanksgiving. I am just waiting for my next cycle to begin so I can start my meds.
I am assuming I will do the same protocol as last month. Letrozole days 3-7 and follistim days 7-9. Then trigger and IUI.

Mybaby and Fletcher, best of luck on your IUI's tomorrow. I hope this is your month!!!

Hi all, I am brand new to this site, and I am also very new to IUI. I am 39 going on 40 in June. I did a week of 50mg Clomid, didn't work, upped to 150mg for a week, didn't work, started on Menopur injections for a week, and had one follicle over 18mm, did my trigger shot on Saturday, and had my first IUI done yesterday. Now the waiting game begins. How are you all keeping busy coz I feel like my mind is racing a million miles a minute. I don't go back to work til Friday. Good luck to us all!!!

Ggarcia78, wishing you all the luck with your first IUI. The TWW is definitely torture. I find that I do okay in the beginning. It is around day 7 or 8 that I start to go a little nuts. Hang in there. Hoping you get good news in about 11 days:)

Hi Ajb38! Thank you for the positive vibes. I'm glad I found this forum coz I've been feeling pretty alone this first cycle. Obviously the people around me are supportive, but I feel like I can't really talk to any of them about what I'm feeling coz they don't understand. It gets pretty old to hear "Just relax, get drunk and it'll happen". DO you guys feel that way?

Hi all, this is my first post here. I am 38.DH 35. I had regular ovulation. No problem from husband side as well. Amh 1.25. Fsh 5. We have been trying for 6 months and decided to see specialist. So its unexplained infertility for us so far. I was on clomid 50mg day 3 to 5. Had hcg trigger at day 11 on Nov1 and my first iui at Nov 2. I had 3 follicles.I dont have any symptoms so far.I heard iui is not helpful if one is ovulating regularly and no issue with sperms. I don't know what should i feel. I try to be optimistic though.

Thanks.
