Karo- so sorry af showed ....it’s tough this emotional up and down. Hugs to you!

Jennifer- Welcome to our group, we had done blood work already at my OBGYN so when I made the RE appointment I had my results and all my cycle information. I was on day one of my cycle on our appointment day and he did an ultrasound to check me and was happy to hear I had a lot of eggs.
So we started meds 2 days later.

Babydreams- so are you going for another HCG this week or waiting for ultrasound on the 23rd? I’ve been thinking a lot about you and really hoping this baby sticks. I think your Poas addiction is completely normal! ;)

Jennifer, welcome!!! I think it depends on the situation. We had to wait I think 1 full cycle before doing our first IUI. I had to do the basic labs & some testing to make sure my tubes weren't blocked.

Karo, I'm so sorry af showed up :( here's hoping that number 2 works for you!!

Prayingforourredhead, I didn't schedule an appointment. I was going to but decided I should probably relax & not focus on the number right now. It was 50 on 15dpiui which I think is the same it was with my son. The line on the pregnancy test was super dark yesterday morning & while I know that might not mean much I'm taking it as a good sign :) thanks for thinking about me!! I'll probably be poas again tomorrow. How are you doing?

Babydreams- I would definitely take the darker lines as a big positive! So happy for you! Can’t wait to hear all about your u/s on the 23rd. I am hanging in there, started Femara today, hoping that I have even better results on my next follie scan. Last time I had two follies, but my lining was just at 7mm which I asked the doctor if that was good and said “it’s not bad”... But I’ve read that liming should be a minimum of 8mm on scan day?!?
So I’m praying my follies are bigger and my lining is thicker this time! We shall see...3rd times a charm?! Right?

Prayingforourredhead, that's my thought. I decided that it makes more sense to wait for my ultrasound. At this point nothing could be done if my numbers did drop. I'm on progesterone suppositories so I hope that helps. I've seen women in different forums have thin lining (I think Clomid caused the thin lining for them) & I remember them taking something to help the lining? Hormone maybe? Dr. Google says 7+ lining is needed for implantation with a preference to 8+. Mine was 9 on scan day & the IUI was 2 days later. Your follies were a good size if I remember right. I bet your lining will be thicker, fillies will be nice & plump & the 3rd time will be a charm!!!!

Babydreams- I am going to ask about taking something for my lining if it’s not thicker this cycle. I am hoping the build up in my system and the fact that Femara/Ovidrel is totally regulating my periods that it’s just taking a little longer because of how screwy my cycles were before starting! Thanks for the encouragement...seeing you get a BFP gives us all hope!! Sticky dust!!

Good morning,

Just checking on how everyone is doing. When I went on Friday to start my second IUI they found a 49 mm cyst so I am supposed to rest this cycle and go in for another scan in about a month.

Karo-sorry to hear about the cyst? Did they give you something to help it go away? Or do they just monitor it?

Prayingforred- do they give you progesterone supplements to help with lining? Not sure if you want to look into it. I take Endometrin suppositories 3 Times a day and it’s a mess. My lining is usually 11 or 12 but I take because it supports getting preg and holding preg as well. I start it 2 days after IUI.

I’m Currently 6DPO and hopeful :)

Karo- So sorry about your cyst. :(
I am also curious like Lynn about what they are doing for it? Hoping you can start again next cycle! Fingers crossed for you!

Lynn- they do not have me on progesterone and haven’t brought it up either. When I go to my scan appointment this Thursday I will see what my lining looks like this time and if no improvement I am going to ask...I am also going to go ahead and make a follow up appointment with RE on next steps in case this cycle doesn’t result in BFP.
So glad to hear you re feeling good!! I really am hoping and praying you get your BFP !!

How is everyone else doing??

Karo sorry to hear about your cyst
So it turned out to be negative for me, debating if we want to go straight to #4 or if we should take a break this month.

Hi everyone! I swear I replied a few days ago but apparently not. Oops!

Prayingforourredhead, I start progesterone 3 days after trigger to help. Definitely ask about that & something to help with lining beforehand. I was told to take it 3 days after trigger because it can delay ovulation so I'm not sure that's what you'd take to help thicken lining? I'm less than 2 weeks for my ultrasound!

Karo, wow sorry to hear about the large cyst :( are you feeling OK?

Soshy, sorry for the negative. Sometimes a break is good. We took a break between our 2nd & 3rd IUI. It was needed.

Lyn, one more week!
