Lynn- I’m so very happy for you, I bet you can hardly wait to see your little bean! I can’t remember will you be far enough along to hear heartbeat at that point? Sorry you’ve got all the bloating but it’s all worth it!

I do not have another appointment scheduled, when she did my treatment the morning of IUI and I was leaving she asked what time my IUI was and said she would be praying ...but didn’t say I should come back around implantation timing which I’ve read is when you should?
So I’m going to call her Monday AM

It’s possible to hear the heartbeat at 6week. I have read that the earlier you hear it could possibly mean less risk for MC. We have an 8 week US scheduled with OB/midwife office. We should definitely hear it by then. It hoping to hear it at 6weeks though. After the MC I really feel like my husband needs to hear the heartbeat to feel it’s real this time lol. I can’t wait for that as well. I feel like the excitement will pick up.

Good Afternoon Ladies,

I thought I posted a couple days ago but it looks as if I forgot to hit the post button. We have decided to go the IVF route for this upcoming cycle. I think this is the first time I ever wished for my cycle would start so I could begin taking the birth control pills. I go on the 12th of April for my base line and to pick up my meds. I will be checking back on this board to see how you ladies are doing.

Prayingforourredhead...Will be sending you positive thoughts these next five days!!!

Babydreams15...congratulations!!

Lyn...Can't wait to see how your ultrasound goes!!!!

Enigma8a...fingers crossed!

Karo- I totally understand your decision and I’m happy you guys have decided to move forward...
if this IUI fails we have already scheduled a follow up appointment on April 10th to move forward with IVF as well. Hoping AF arrives so you can start your pills. I have been researching IVF and just read about how you take birth control pills first to shut everything down. I had no idea that was part of the process! So glad you checked in! Thank you for the positive thoughts!!

Prayingforourredhead- your tww is almost over. If feel like good news is coming your way. Have you been tracking your BBT? By the way, What did they say about you doing another accupuncture treatment?

Babydreams- how are you feeling?

Lyn- thank you for the positive encouragement!! I haven’t tracked my BBT in probably 6 months.. because I wasn’t ovulating I never had the spikes or drops...so once I started doing IUI I didn’t go back to it.
I didn’t end up calling my Accupunturist, my last three days have been crazy busy and I really didn’t know when I could fit it in, and the next two days aren’t any better ...
I’m just waiting now until I know if this IUI worked or not

Hey everyone! We've been crazy busy recently so I've been quiet. I've been thinking about all of you a lot & hoping all is well! I'm doing good. Lots of nausea, which I didn't have at all with my son. Eating is still the only thing that helps. I'm trying not to eat too much, but it doesn't always work out that way LOL I'm a little more emotional as well. All of this is new as I had zero pregnancy symptoms with my son.

Lyn, I also think your hubby needs to hear it to believe it. He'll come around :) your appointment is soon!!!

Karo, thank you! Sending all positive thoughts your way for a successful IVF cycle! You got this!

Prayingforourredhead, your tww is just about done!!! I'm always thinking about you & I have a good feeling about this cycle! Here's hoping you can cancel that April 10th appointment, or turn it into a different type of follow up :)

Babydreams- Thank you so much. Maybe these differences between your last pregnancy mean you are having a girl this time? :) Will you find out the gender of your baby?
Everyone has been super quiet on the board lately...I was feeling hopeful too until this morning...test day...I actually have held out this time and no early POAS....but I woke up today with clear A/F cramps...still wanting to believe it could be preggo related ...I tested to which was a BFN. I’m very disappointed but we have our April 10th appointment..so we shall see.

Lynn- I’m so excited you get to see your little one on U/S this week!! Still prayering you hear the heartbeat!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Prayingforourredhead- I was thinking about you yesterday. I am so sorry to hear the news. This process is so hard and cruel sometimes.

Babydreams- have you tried ginger drops? You can order them on Amazon or Walmart’s site. I think Asian markets carry it too. It’s supposed to help with nausea. Or ginger tea. Hang in there.

I cannot wait for Thursday’s US. I have been feeling exhausted like never before. The simplest things take so much energy. I’m so glad I’m almost done with school. Driving 45min to and from class and getting home at 10:15pm kills me. I had a presentation in school last night and been stressed and quiet preparing for that. I’m terrified of presentations and have 2 this week at work
With two directors. Need to stay relaxed right now. It’s all good though I got this.

Karo- Thank you, I am better today..I have accepted that it’s just not our time yet! I’m still believing that someday we will get our BFP!
Did A/F arrive for you? Did you start your BC pills?
I am a little nervous about our appointment on the 10th, wish I could say I was looking forward to it but I don’t think anyone really wants to have to do IVF.

Lyn- did you have your U/S today?

Thank you for asking. Yes baby was in the right place, yolk sac was there the heart was fluttering. Heartbeat was 112BPM. They said it was a little slow and they like to see it at 120 at this stage. But every website the I look at says 112 is in normal range for 6 weeks. We have to go back at 8 weeks on 4/19 to check again. Once everything is well we get discharged from fertility office and go to OBGYN office. My husband was really happy. I think it’s starting to sink these past few days and him seeing the heartbeat was the best.

Prayingforourredhead....A/F showed herself on the 31st of March so I have been taking BC ever since. I go the 12th of April for my baseline ultrasound. The clinic we are going to is six hours away so I will be going myself since DH has work and class that day. It's strange I am excited and have all other sorts of feelings regarding IVF. I just wish it could be next week already. Ugh! Find the time to see your acupuncturist and try to relax. Let us know how your appointment goes on the 10th.

Lyn...That is so exciting to hear the heartbeat!!!! :D :D :D
