Enigm8a- I’m also hoping for more mature follicles this time. I had one last month that was a little over 17mm, so it wasn’t as big as I was hoping. The reality is it only takes one but I get your thinking the more mature the better the chances.

Multiples scares me but I would be happy either way. Just know how hard it would be with multiples.
My husband and I were blesse to have one biological child together, and in 2013 we lost him tragically at 6 1/2yrs old. We miss him everyday and our lives have been shattered.
When he was 2 we decided to adopt and brought home our daughter from Russia at 17months. Our family was complete. We had a boy and a girl.
When we lost our son our whole world turned upside down. I never thought we would ever get to a point of even trying again as the grief was so horrible.
In August of 2015 we got a phone call that changed our lives, a family member of mine who has a drug problem couldn’t care for her 4wk old baby...and she wanted us to take him. This was scary, were we ready for that...but he has been such a blessing to our family, he brought joy where we had lost it...he is now 2 1/2 and we have officially adopted him.
I’ll be 37 at the end of this month, and never thought I’d be trying for a baby again but we so want to have another biological child if God would allow.
I’m hoping we all will be blessed with little miracles.

Prayingforredhead. Yes thank you for sharing your story. Sending well wishes, positive vibes and baby dust your way.

Where are you ladies at in your cycle? What’s new? I am 7DPO. The Endometrin suppositories get me frequent urination, increased appetite, and I’m am tired as heck everyday. Just exhausted when I get home from work. But I’m sure it will be all worth it.

Hi everyone! How is everyone doing? We just had our 3rd IUI this afternoon & I'm really hoping it works. Hubby's counts went down drastically compared to what it was 3 months ago, but I'm still hopeful. Today his count was 9.4 mil. I did 12 days of Gonal-f & Ovidrel yesterday morning. On 2/12/18 I had 3 follicles at 20.5, 16 & 15. Fingers crossed this cycle works for everyone!

babydreams- we got our first BFP on first IUI in November with 6million sperm count. Good luck to you

Prayingforredhead- Praying you get those big follicles. im scheduled to test on 2/21. But my husbands birthday is 2/19 so I’m thinking about testing that day. That would be awesome to give him good news on his birthday. What do you all think?

Lyn- That is so exciting and YES, I think it would be the most amazing gift ...oh I really hope it works out and I’ll pray you get your BFP.

We are taking the kids to great wolf lodge over the weekend with our friends and their kids, this has been planned for months...didn’t know then we’d be doing fertility treatments...so I’ll probably be triggering while I’m there! Lol
The good thing is, we have our friends to keep an eye on our kids so we can get our “give love a chance” (BD) in. :) ..my RE calls it that! Lol

Hi! I also started an IUI cycle Feb 2nd on Gonal F injections. I had a few follicles but only one reached maturity so I did the trigger shot yesterday and procedure is today lumchtime. Fingers crossed!!!
We had failed cycles in Dec and Jan so I'm praying 3rd time is the charm this time.
But we are blessed with a little boy who is the beautiful result of IUI (2nd time lucky in 2016), previously tried 6 rounds of clomid and 2 years TTC on our own.
Feb is the month of love so surely it's got to be lucky!

Lyn, that's great to hear! Hubby mentioned after his test that one of the "boys" is tender & swollen. He had a vericocel many years ago, on that same side, that he had surgery on. Similar symptoms. I'm trying to convince him to get checked since his numbers are dropping significantly & he has tenderness. In typical male fashion he's dragging his feet.
Prayingforourredhead, definitely give love a chance all you can!! Also enjoy great wolf lodge ;)
Buttercup, best of luck to you! I had my IUI yesterday so we're super close! It took 4 medicated IUI's to conceive our son in 2015 & yesterday was our 3rd since November.

I'm on day 3 and feeling positive. I think after the first failure I got it into my head that this was never going to happen. I think because I had my hopes so high with the first one. This time I'm trying to temper the hopes and keep myself busy and distracted. My tww ends two days before my birthday. Which could be the best birthday present ever or ... so I've planned a whole bunch of activities around my birthday to keep me busy in case the outcome isn't good. I like the idea of distracting myself either way.

random question: what is your go to prenatal vitamin?

Enigm8a- staying positive is important and not always easily done. I think our Bdays are very close to each other just based on your day 3 comment and the 2WW.. My Bday is Feb 24th! Hoping you get your Bday wish!! :)

My prenatal vitamin go to is the one I get prescribed by my OB..because it’s covered by my insurance :) It’s just called Classic Prenatal Tabs

Just got home from my U/S...I have two mature follicles in my right side this time, last time only had one on my left...one is 18.2mm and the other is 16.8mm..
The good news is I have two this time...and one is slightly bigger than last time. I take ovidrel shot Saturday night between 10-midnight...and IUI is scheduled for 2pm on Monday!

Prayingforourredhead, that's awesome! That 16.8 will be a nice good size come Monday! Do you ovulate that many hours after ovidrel? Only asking since 10 pm is about 40 hours after trigger. Can't have you missing ovulation :)
