First timer iui

Postby SheaLT » Mon Feb 19, 2018 8:51 am

Hello I’m new here, my name is shea and me and my wife just did our first iui on February 12th 2018 no meds just natural cycle. I’m taking estrogen and progesterone. I feel a little weird about taking the estrogen because I haven’t read many people who take/took them. I’m 7dp iui and no symptoms, maybe a little cramping but nothing really. I took a HPT on 6dp iui and it was a BFN, it could have been way to soon to tell. I’m just looking for people to talk to during this tww

Hello ! I also had my IUI on February 12th and took estrogen for 2 weeks prior to taking my trigger shot and it helped tremendously .. I am PCOS so my body has tons of baby follicles that are stubborn and do not like to grow which causes my lining to be thin .. estrogen will help your uterus lining thicken up for pregnancy along with progesterone . Good luck . I am going absolutely nuts waiting for the 26th for my beta pregnancy test .

I’m going nuts, I did an iui with no meds so when I went in to check my progesterone she also prescribed estrogen. She said that it was normal. I’ve taking test since 3dp iui and had received BFN. It’s gotten me down I feel like it’s not going to work. Baby dust to you ! Please keep me informed I’ve been waits for someone to write me.

I know but I should be hopeful but I don’t want to be let down. How are you symptoms? I have none.

I have been nauseous, acne , and cramping but that could also be caused by the progesterone and the amount of medication i had from the trigger shot so I’ve been a little clueless on what symptom is related to what . I’ve honestly just been avoiding any places that sell pregnancy tests so I cannot get tempted and buy one just yet . Do you also have your blood test
On Monday ?

Hey yes I do have my beta on Monday ! All week I had very mild cramps close to none and no other symptoms, but today I had severe cramping and lower back pain.
