help - said my post was spam!

Postby daretohope » Sun Apr 07, 2013 5:29 pm

So I tried to post my first post on the general board, and when I went to submit It gave me an error message saying that my post had been detected as spam and rejected. Why? I went to the FAQ to see if I did something wrong, but I didn't see anything addressing this. Thanks for any and all help! :)

With this same account? Or a different account?

With new accounts, for some reason it detects your first post as spam if you include a smiley/emoticon. If you try removing that, it should work.

This happened to me too when I posted my BFP story in a couple weeks ago and also an "am I pregnant" entry. I went back and reposted and it showed that it was accepted but unpublished. However, the stories never showed (that I could see anyway)!
