I'll be fine. I keep telling myself I'm just grieving an idea, there was never even a heartbeat. Those few weeks of thinking I was going to have a baby were pretty great though, it's hard to have to give up on that happening this year.

ABelle - To follow up with your question from page 3, I found out today that without fertility treatment coverage I will now be paying $1200-$1800 per cycle for IUI depending upon what medication is used. So hopefully I will get pregnant again on my next IUI because this can add up quickly. I'm also going to ask my doctor about more testing to see if we can pinpoint why the IUI worked but I can't seem to get pregnant naturally since my insurance does cover that and any subsequent treatment to resolve any issues. We really didn't do a whole lot of testing to begin with (only bloodwork and HSG for me, and SA for my husband).

Lorza- I am so sorry that you are having to go thru this. I can't imagine the pain you must be going thru. For each one of our IUI cycles, it's 1200 plus medications which run a little over $300. I've had two lap surgeries to clear endo and had a total of 3 HSG's (2 of them were done with my lap surgeries). Then we did genetic lab tests, ovarian assessment reports, hormone testing, SA... which has all added up for sure. Wish we would just get pregnant already!!!

FX that the next two months give your body the time it needs to rest and heal and get ready for that healthy sticky baby next time around!!!

2 Lap Surgeries, 3 HSGs, 4 rounds of Clomid, 3 IUI's, 1 IVF cancelled (cysts) = all :bfn:

Hi girls. I just read through all the posts.... soooo sorry about the miscarriage. I have been there. I lost mine at 13 weeks along- its horrible and I will pray for you.

I have been trying to conceive baby #2 now for 16 months since the miscarriage and nothing..
We have tried clomid and ovidril and IUI for three cycles and all BFN.

This cycle I am on CD 5 and on letrozolye and will take Gondoh F or something like that with a ovidril trigger for O time and ultrasound and blood draw.. man that all sounds so tiring just writing it all out!!
Anyway I wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I was on here years ago when TTC my first child and I am back now trying to have baby #2 :)

Jenn: How is your pregnancy going so far? Have you had your first ultrasound yet?

I had my last post-miscarriage ultrasound this morning and everything is just about back to normal. My hcg is down to 43 (have to go back next week to make sure it gets down to <5) and I'm just spotting intermittently now. The best news was I can start trying again after I get my first period, which is sooner than I thought. It was one of the other doctors at my RE's office that originally told me to wait for 2 periods, but my RE said there's no need to wait that long. So hopefully I'll be back to TTC in March. I wish I hadn't had to go through all of this, but at least I know I can get pregnant and I'm starting to see a bit of a light at the end of the tunnel.

Lorza, I'm glad to hear you won't need to wait as long to get back to trying. It's amazing how different doctor's have very different approaches to treatment, I'm glad your's is not making you wait. Hope AF shows quickly (the only time I think I've ever said that). :-) There's a light at the end ofevery tunnel.
