How are the injections going?? Feeling any side effects?

I'm waiting to ovulate naturally and get AF, then I'll be joining you on follistim. Hopefully you'll get a BFP soon then I'll join close behind!

I'm so glad to hear it's going smoothly so far! Super curious to hear tomorrow how your follicles are growing with the follistim.

I'm feeling almost 100% these days, just a bit sore still and more tired than usual. I was at the tail end of AF when I went in for the surgery which started up bleeding that feels similar to AF, so I'm on day 13 of bleeding/spotting and it's starting to get old! Oh well, I do want AF to arrive soon so I can start shooting up my fertility meds, haha. :)

Yes, it's nice having a buddy going through the same stages! Honestly if it weren't for DH pushing for the "most logical next step", I would've gone ahead with the injectable IUI cycle already and put the laparoscopy off for later... so we would've been in the same boat! :)

Good luck today at your appointment!

Hi! I just wanted to update in case anybody comes along goes through the same thing! i went to dr last tuesday and my follicles were all under 10mm and my estrogen was 89..i went back friday and nothing had changed and my estrogen was at 87 so they increased my dose to 75iu..i went back to the dr yesterday and had a leading follicle at 16mm so they had me do another dose last night and i went back again this morning and i had a 20mm follicle and my estrogen was in the 250's so im happy that i feel like the follistim is working. I triggered tonight and i go in tomorrow and thursday for back to back IUI. Im so nervous this round because i feel like this is the best month ive had..i havent had a follicle that big with any of my last 3 cycles. is anybody out there doing injectable/IUI this month?

cbusch..how are you doing?

That's fabulous! I'm so glad to hear your follicles finally grew after the extra waiting and increased dosage.

Best of luck on your IUI's this cycle! Hope everything goes smoothly and you have great #'s to work with.

I'm fine, just waiting still. My ovulation this past weekend was incredibly painful and I'm still having some pain. The nurse at my RE's office said that's pretty normal right after surgery so I'm just trying to be patient and take it easy when it hurts. I should be getting AF around the 16th!

Hey! Well I'm thinking this round is A bust..I started spotting on 10dpiui which was Sunday and have been lightly spotting since..so I'm thinking AF should be here anytime :( I tested yesterday at 12dpiui and it was bfn :( I'm so anxious and frustrated about everything..I have a hard time deciding if I should get the lap and then do another round or another round and then the lap..ugh so frustrating..everything felt so right this time. How did your first shot go?

Ugh I'm so sorry. I was hoping this would be it for you and you wouldn't have to make a tough decision about your next step.

Do you have a blood test scheduled this week? I'm still holding out hope that somehow you will get a miracle BFP this time around.

The shot was easy to administer and since I'd already stuck myself with a trigger shot in a previous cycle, it didn't take that long to work up the courage to do it again. :) I know you said you didn't have any side effects, but I'm not sure I'm as lucky. I did the shot at 5:30pm then at the end of my yoga class around 8:30pm I suddenly got very nauseous. Thankfully didn't get sick but the waves of nausea kept coming back all night until I eventually fell asleep at about 1:30am. Also around 9:30pm I got dizzy for a while. I don't know if it's from the yoga or from being tired or if it's a side effect. We'll see tonight I guess.
