Weird Situation-Please help

Postby Trinette » Thu Feb 18, 2016 5:10 am

So I take HMG shots and then trigger with HCG. The first weird thing about this cycle is that I have sort of a mix and match with my meds this cycle. I normally use the generic HMG from IVFmeds which comes in ampules and is injected IM. Well this time i have supplemented my supply with some Menopur for sub-q injection only. I figure I will have a day when I have to take 2 different shots. I can only inject the HMG IM, and I can only inject the Menopur sub-q. So much going on there..LOL.

My dosage this time is to be 2 1/2 vials. What are the logistics of only taking half? Is it good in the fridge for 24 hours? Do I leave it in the vial? Do I leave it in the syringe? I guess i would have to since the HMG is in glass ampules that you break the tops off of.

I must say that I am rather thankful for running accross this Menopur so cheap. I have never been able to afford it before and i will be so happy to do those sub-q injections as opposed to the butt shots for 10 days!

Any advice, opinions are welcome. Thanks for reading!
